Well Chase alone right now has a $200 bonus for the Chase Freedom, $400 for the Chase Preferred Sapphire, and a 50,000 flyer point bonus for the Southwest signup.

US Bank Flex Perks Signature is $200.
Blue Cash Preferred is $150.
US Bank has three others at $150.
B of A has several at $100.
Capital One Venture at $200.
Discover IT at double first-year points.
Citi Thank You Premier at 50,000 points.

Those are just a few I found in two minutes. Not sure if any of those help you or not.

What would you do?

Situation: I'm going to be purchasing something for about $6000... I'll be paying it off instantly.

What credit card would you recommend opening? I know there are usually some ones with awesome rewards if you spend $X in the first few months...

THANK YOU Smilie

Only problem I have with sites like these is they are paid by credit companies to review their cards. They'll list their sponsored cards as the "best" card

Looking for advice.

Few years ago I messed up on my Macy's account and over the last few months I have gotten things back on track with my FICO score and been approved on a few cards recently (taking advantage of the rewards) and today I tried to sign up for the Discover It card and was denied because of a Macy's delinquent mark...

I have tried calling Macy's in the past and even wrote a goodwill letter and they did not want to remove the negative mark.

Seeking advice on how to get this off of my credit report..

Thanks and if I posted in the wrong section, I am sorry.

Rob.
Hi Rob, It can be VERY difficult to have creditors remove late payments. Keep writing and calling. You never know. Good luck!

I understand your point, but in my experience they have generally been pretty spot-on and they always list full disclosure.
