I found this in the local paper tonight. I can't find this model anywhere on the web so I scanned in the ad so you can look see for yourself. Key points from the ad:

- Intel Pentium CPU
- Windows 7 Home Premium
- 15.6 LCD Display
- 3GB RAM
- 250GB Hard drive
- CD/DVD R/W

Looks like a deal for under $300 less Bing Cash Back (whatever that might be this weekend).

Sale starts 2/28/1010

just came to see how everyone is faring with their machines. Mine had a screen replaced under warranty but other than that, ive been pretty suprised to how tough the thing is. I do need a few new keys since theyre popping out but other than that, still as solid as day 1

I had to warranty the hdd back in February of this year (was a WD Scorpio Blue, and they sent me a Toshiba that has been working out well since), but other than that - its been working out very well!

edit: screen started to flicker when coming back from sleep and starting up for a bit - just started today Frown

I hate to be a downer, but I wouldn't expect much more out of this laptop, I myself purchased it and to my knowledge it is still working, but it was never an excellent laptop to begin with. For the time it was a good price/performance laptop. With prices what they are these days for a b940 (comparable to current generation I3) I don't see how something like this even stands a chance of continuing to be a good computer. Wait for black friday, sell this on craigslist for 200 bucks(if you still can) and pick up something 4 times as good for 250.00 JMO

I bought one and convinced my sister to do the same about 2 years ago, and they are both holding up very well. I use mine every day for several hours, and lug it around with me everywhere I go. I keep it in a laptop bag when not in use. I agree that there are some really great deals on $300 -$350 laptops right now, but I am having a hard time justifying buying a new one when this is still doing everything I need. All serious computing I do on my desktop. I did not and have not yet regretted this purchase.

Still running like new. I did rebuild the OS, but that's about it.

Mine is still running like a champ. I use about 2-4 hours a day. I always close it. One thing that kinda broke was the headphone jack still works but can come off loose. Nevertheless holding up pretty well

Advise needed. Love me laptop and still holding up with daily use except the USB jack/port thing is broke. At least I think it's broke. I can only plug something 1/2 way in. If I try to push it in more, the laptop shuts down. Thoughts? Thanks!

I dunno, stop using that port and buy a hub to connect to the other one?
