Oh! I'm sorry for you too! Jeepers- pets are so important to us. I understand when people aren't animal lovers- I understand it (although I'm one) but man- losing one is like losing a child.

I just brought my Murphy (cat...) in- she is 17 and I'm not sure about putting her down. Found out that there is a lab test (ok- $160 ouch but I want to be sure about what I'm doing) to see if her one of her organs are in need of meds or if it's old age and time. Dogs seem to show more easily that they are ready to go- cats are sneaky about it. I am more sad than I can say if I do need to put her down, but at least with this lab test- I won't be guessing- I hope.

Wish us luck that it is an inexpensive medication!

To all that are having a hard time with their little ones.
