LOL, I'm not sure water would ruin it enough for me...especially if it was cheesecake.
I try and split a small piece at work when we have cake. Its a monthly thing and we get the equivalent of three full sheet cakes. We finally convinced them to only use the whipped cream frosting though. Not the heavy shortening type. So I normally convince one or two of the other ladies to share a small piece with me. Then we can all have some and feel compelled to share instead of scarfing it down. I get the whole weekend off this week. DH has to do some spare embroidery between now and then but all we have to do is get an oil change and laundry. Hoping to continue working through sorting unpacked boxes while making cookies for work. Clear purple Sterilite totes are on clearance at WM (again) and I've got 18 unfilled ones left to finish sorting and organizing our stuff into. If any of you need totes, these come in four sizes and are a modular system. They are clear purple with a purple lid and grey/silver handles. They also come in opaque purple with same color lid and handles-full price and clear with a tan/gold lid and dark tan handles-also full price and has another size available. The newer shipments of clear are a more milky clear, the original ones were clearer looking to me, but I could be nuts. Clearance totes are $4-$9, originally $5.57-11.97. We've had our candy in them since before the move and I adore them. Very sturdy and they can hold the weight without bowing.

Thought I'd post something to bump this thread from the 3rd page.
Went to Hannaford today and realized the PSP of the blocky red peppers much like MB sells bagged is $1.69/lb (buy 3 peppers at a time) and they are sold right alongside the more expensive shinier ones at $2.49. Nice to see it since it's a longstanding weakness they've had. Also, the product I love them for (all natural turkey) is on sale at the deli ($5.99/lb). |

Weather's getting pretty nasty here in southern ME. Saw one car off the road on the way to pick up the kids from school - and it's only a 5-min drive. Be careful out there!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ post linky Thanks to all my RA peeps for getting me to 6000! Thanks munchkin, cmm4chris, debko, thorndor, angelinda, PGF, Mokki and Rodent!!! Thanks to all my Shaw's buddies for getting me to 5000. 42% of children in the United states live in low-income families (less than the amount needed to cover basic expenses). Why should you care? Because the future of our country depends on our children. |
My kids had no school! Had to take the girls to my medicine appointment, where we met DH. The drive home took foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr tonight...
I second that, be careful! ISO: Dog food & treat coupons, string cheese, produce. NAPR WT's & MIR's for Anything!
Before I go digging through the RA threads...
I saw an endcap of the Nivea items with a Spend XX get $10 back listed for a long time...want to say starting last weekend ending the end of the month? Had the single tubes of lip stuff, the tuns and the squeeze tubes. I bought 8 packaged tubes, and notice I have $12 towards the RA birthday thingy, but no Nivea tracking... So I am wondering if the Nivea thingy isn't tracking, isn't working, or doesn't include the pegged lip stuff. Cause then I'll buy the unpegged ones, but I HAD to try the olive oil and lemon. Peeved the lip butter isn't included. I PMed it at WM last night and its AMAZING. But they only have unflavored and cherry. RA has a caramel and a coconut.....
No sure Ang, I just got all of them early in the week, if I didn't get out early they'd be gone, like the poise I looked for of Thursday
don't know what I was thinking. Didn't even know there was a $ back deal, oh well.So I'm down to pre almost 1 year old weight. Almost 24lbs gone. Now to get down to pre 8 year old weight.... Then pre 13 year old weight..... last couple of weeks I've only lost .2lbs per week, but at least its still a loss!
The lip tubes were on sale this week 2/$3. The lip butters are higher priced and weren't included in the sale, but the Qs still applied, just not free. |
I spent $17 all last year at RA. And this is why. I don't have time to play their fool games and remember if I have rewards on my card. Would have been nice to have the time to grab the rest of the Qs worth of Nivea, but DH was of course annoyed after this episode, as was I. Thinking of just returning the four Nivea. But who knows what will happen to the UPs then....not to mention explaining it to them. Should have just PMed them in groups of 8 at WM the other night....cashier wouldn't have cared at all.
Ang, you have a PITA RA.
I have a PITA Target. If you ever want any RA help, let me know. As you are aware, I just don't go to Target (unless I'm in your neighborhood and go to yours ).Having said that, you can opt-out of the load-2-card UPs. Every RA cashier *should* know how to do it. I much prefer to have my paper UPs in hand. If your store doesn't know how (it's pretty simple), or if you want me to have my store do it for you, send me a PM or email (I'll just need the phone # associated with the card to have it taken care of). My stores are wonderful. |
I've kind of read about the new UP process and the new WAGs points thing but not really, since I'm not shopping there enough to bother. Plus the kid I asked was definitely high school aged. He may have known but didn't want to bother with the effort. If I opt out is it permanent? Or do I have to opt out every transaction that produces UPs? |
Wags, on the other hand...
