You could probably find a small turkey and still get a pretty good deal Wink

Just a HU:
Not sure if it is the same in your region, but I've tried the x/25 in 2 regions and the register adds the $4 back on when you go below 21 (25-4). They have had the fine print after all coupons for the 4/25.

thats odd, cuz ive done this a few times now(the above tranny and a few others with this coupon), and i always have it scanned first, and its never adds it back on. thats very weird.--must be a region thing

My $4 stayed on yesterday.

On my last Butterball transaction, I did not get my $10 CAT. The cashier gave me 10,000 points and two $5 rewards instead - I've never had that response before. I guess that is good - although I can only use one per transaction it's a whole lot easier to spend $5 in one transaction than that $10.

Meow. Wink

I am not a cat lover. My sister is deathly allergic to cats. When we were growing up we wore each other's clothes and if I ever even touched a cat, she would be ill for days. I learned to stay away from them and, just from habit, mostly still do.

As I said, I am not really a cat lover. (Now CATS are another thing altogether!)

With that awesome gillette disposable razor deal in June I didn't think the catalinas would print but the cashier was like heck yea I'll print them for you and she ended up giving me $65 in reward points!

I got the same thing today. They were out of butterball and substitued the honeysuckle. They did 2 x 5,000 points Smilie

Also, I was afraid the $4/25 would go away after my coupons brought my total less than $25, (like it had in the past) but this time it worked fine. I wonder if the coupon coding is different? or the computers are different? Either way, I was happy Smilie

There is a $5 rebate (5 $1 q's) on any fresh or frozen Butterball whole turkey but you have to buy 4 of certain items. Visit butterball.com for form/details. Might sweeten the deal.

You are all better than I of putting these deals together.

I had a real sourpuss cashier at Albertsons last night. I set up my 3 transactions:

T1
3 Mt Olive peppers
Culinary Circle roasted chicken
Potato salad
Jo Jos
20 oz Mt. Dew
M&Ms
Veggie tray
(didn't feel like cooking and making a mess the day before Thanksgiving)
Used 3 - $1/1 mt olive peppers
Used 3 doublers
Used 1 - $20 off groceries (from buying a $100 sears gift card)
Total paid $2.44

T2 and T3
3 Mt. Olive peppers
3 coupons
3 doublers
Cashier says "I'm just going to do these all in one transaction"
The price of the peppers was $1.59 so she should have been rounding each doubler down to $0.59 off but she didn't so I got overage on my first transaction but then she ended up making me pay $0.35 for this transaction and even tried to steal my last 2 doublers that she didn't even use!

I had no idea (doing this for over a year now) that a cashier could force through more than 3 doublers in a transaction!

It used to happen on a regular basis but corporate stopped it. One of the managers at one of my stores still will force through nine doublers for couponers. She says it just isn't worth her time to do it separately and that keeps the other customers happier.

What is the best items to pick to get $10 cat turkey deal? I don't have any 50 cents evaporated milk MQ and I can't use them, so I'd rather pay for st I can use.
Thanks for any suggestion and Happy Thanksgiving to all of my SD friends.

Anyone give the $10/$50 eQ from the QFC Facebook page a try at Fred Meyer? I gave it a try on some groceries, but it didn't work. I went below $50 with paper store Qs, but my intermediate total after scanning my card was above $50 and the eQ didn't come off.

Since it didn't at least come off and then add itself back on, I'm guessing it just doesn't work.

At least the $3 meat dept eQ came off the Flame Crafted ham, and the $2 deli/bakery came off Hawaiian rolls.

I tried it on Monday with a leap pad 2 princess bundle using the in-ad q & the 25% off toys paper q. Total was $92.xx after my 2 paper q's & was hoping the eq would make for a super sweet deal, but no luck...

but that's OK, my best deal of the season came a week early when baby #3 showed up early the next morning Smilie and now I can feel good about taking some time off from everything & enjoying the coming season with family, Happy Thanksgiving NW SD peeps heart
