Sounds much more relaxing than our Christmas! Our girls woke us up at 2:30 am so we decided to just get it over with so we could take a nap before it was time to go to my parent's house. Went there at 11, stayed til 3, then a 40 minute drive to my older daughter's grandparent's house for more Christmas and a birthday party for my daughter...Non-stop all day long.

Then today we had to go get a CT scan for my daughter (having some hearing issues), and the kiddos wanted to spend their Christmas money so we braved Old Navy and Target. Not too crowded but kids always take forever to pick what they want so it exhausting! Did pretty well for someone with agoraphobia though Wink

Thanks for the Reynolds coupon tip, I definitely need to stock up!

my christmas day was pretty non-stop too. cooked some sides for dinner, hit wag/sbux, went to aunt/uncle's place, watched basketball games, played w/ nephew, had dinner, then went to 10p showing of movie and didn't get out 'til well after 1am....got home around 2am and passed out. Big Grin

still have to get my new year's plans figured out while i keep an eye on the market and snipe post-xmas deals...hopefully it'll crumbles before the end of the year (or at least feb) so i can make some money, go back into hibernation, and it isn't on my mind while i'm in hawaii. will be nice once the market goes over the cliff, people stop smoking hopium and it goes thru real correction rather than the fake one the fed induced. nod

the market as a whole could use less hopium. then again, i guess if people get off the hopium, then there wouldn't be as many opportunities to make money when the market keels over so maybe things are just fine the way they are. Dontknow

back o/t...gift sets clearance just about everywhere. i couldn't find at my wag and my manager told me they send them back to mfg. Sadwalk

If you are in PDX or anywhere close to the "border" just take up up to WA to transfer. There is a RA & a SW within a mile of each other up on Mill Plain Blvd. hth!

Meow. Wink

I am not a cat lover. My sister is deathly allergic to cats. When we were growing up we wore each other's clothes and if I ever even touched a cat, she would be ill for days. I learned to stay away from them and, just from habit, mostly still do.

As I said, I am not really a cat lover. (Now CATS are another thing altogether!)

Unfortunately, we're in Southern Oregon. It's not worth an hour drive over the border here Frown But hopefully this info helps someone else. Thanks Smilie

Fred Meyer had a bunch of pop tarts, low fat cinnamon and cookie dough, on clearance in the regular isle for 1.47. If you still have any KFR's they would be free!
I was super disappointed that I didn't find ANY mint baking chips on clearance anywhere. I tried Safeway, Fred Meyer, and Target . How disappointing! I did find Sierra Mist Blinkies though :-)

Yeah, I noticed quite a few clearance tags at FM too. They had Magnum ice cream bars as low as $1.47. The prices were pretty random though based on varieties. The Magnum ice cream varieties alone had some at regular price, some at sale prices, and at least two different clearance prices.
