The produce buyer buys from the same vendor as Whole Foods and they are cheaper (explain that would you??!) I use to shop at Star and Stop and Shop but the convenience of buying fresh veggies, fresh seafood, fresh meat all in one store is invaluable. No more shopping at 3 different stores:-)
Friday till May 31 85% lean hamburg for $1.99 lb. This is a good deal and they are close enough for me to go twice. Tuesday for doubling and Friday for meat.

Also as Atlanta said these coupons change [sometimes weekly] during the month, but are all good until the end of the month. So try to save a copy each week.

How does the double dollar coupon work on Tuesday? Is it automatic in the registers or does the cashier enter the extra manually?
I ask because I wonder if the 1.99 mayo will cause a problem.
Overage used to be a problem on double coupons until the re-programmed the the registers to auto-adjust matching. And bogo items can't use coupons there unless the cashier overrides.

Well, last time It didn't double automatically at register.

So I reminded cashier about that and he took $5 off manually without any problem as I was using 5 $1 coupons.

Also, they have shirt notice about doubling coupons at their register also, so they are very cool with this.

Just put note in wiki about this.

went and got the mayo today (with some other groceries) and the register doubled the $1 coupons with no problems ... and it seemed to do it automatically with no intervention needed.... Smilie

I just did a quick run with 2 Cains and 2 Bagel Bites. I threw in a couple of tomatoes on the vine, because we needed them and I wasn't sure how the Cain's would double since it could give $0.01 overage.

Anyways, the register didn't automatically double it, but the cashier manually deducted $1 for each of the 4 Qs I gave her. I didn't need to ask; she knew to do it.

Free Vanity Fair Cocktail Napkins - (40 Count) $1.99 on Tuesdays with the printable $1.00 coupon on Redplum.com, seems to be the regular non-sale price.

Went to Sudbury Farms (drooled over the pastry) and then got my Mayo along with other groceries. I gave her those coupons first and my cashier manually deducted $1 ea.

Going to store now..wish me luck..yummy

ETA: Just came back, got Mayo and few other stuff.

Also noticed, Nature valley granula nut clusters are 2 for $6, so $1 each today after $1 insert coupon.

Also, McCORMICK spices start from $2.29..so if you have $1 coupon ( I got other day at Stop and Shaw's, near spices aisle), not bad to get some cheap spices.

I didn't have any dollar coupons, but the lady in front of me had @5 or 6 ( I lost count--trying not to be nosy) In Wellesley, it seems that they have to input them, and then file them with a little green card that has Tuesday Dollar double (words to that effect). I was there at 4:45 so if it was anyone of y'all...you did good!

There are $1/1 Qs in front of the Fresh Express displays at some Shaws. Would they give $1 overage when they double on Tuesday?

Also, I have blinkies that I picked up at SNS for $1/2 Kellogg's Corn Pops, Apple Jacks or Froot Loops. On Tuesday that would double and make it $1 for 2 boxes of cereal.
