I don't think you can buy other gc w/ Lowe's gc because its a specific store's gc. OTH you can buy specific store gc w/ Visa/Mastercard/Home Improvement (Discover card) gc. I think of it as going from more general to more specific. Kind of like being at the end of the food chain, lol.

I don't know if it was just my store but there was a large display of Haas avocados for $1 ea.

First time in a long time that I've felt happy about a Shaws transaction. I got
4 FE salad bags ($1 markdowns) - 2 $1/2 thumbpulls
2 Nature Sweet tomatoes BOGO - $0.35/1 Nature Sweet tp from this past summer
1 roasted chicken $5.99 - 3 $1/1 markdown peelies (3 hrs since cooked, lol)
1 Diet Pepsi (1 liter Pepsi product free wyb roast chicken)
2 avocados
1 deli cheese end

$8 for 4 good 'dinner' salads (salad mix + tomato + avocado + chicken + cheese) makes me happy

The store marks the roasting time on the chicken's label. I wander by the heated case, check to see if the 3 hr mark is approaching. If it is, I'll kill time in the store waiting for markdowns. This time it had just passed cuz there were 8 chickens now in the refrigerated deli section w/mark down peelies.
