Has anyone confirmed that both the PB and choco Snackwell bars work? I bought 2 of each and I only got one $3. Is it because I doubled up in one order?

Late info, not sure how I missed it but tomorrow is the last day to use the 2.00 Silver Palate coupons for the sale! Found in the May Organic Hannaford booklet. So the cereal is free, oatmeal is .50 and Sauce is .99, great deals IMO Smilie I had the Tomato Alfredo sauce with Johnsonville 4 cheese Sausage in it for dinner with some Prince Angel Hair!!! Fed all 6 for about $4.00, thanks for some good deals finally Shaws! In case anyone is questioning it the Fiber One Brownies print the 2.00 OYNO when you get 4/10.00 and there are 1.00 off 1 coupons out there Smilie

That's what I was afraid of...

Are multiple transactions frowned upon in general now or is that only if you're trying to double more than 4 like coupons?

Lisa in NH (hope it's not our Lisa) on WUC posted the following about a new Shaw's mailing:

"Keep a look out in your mailbox. I just received a coupon booklet from Shaws today in the mail. It only has 5 coupons in it but they'll do the trick"

Coupons included:

$3 off any frozen purchase
$3 off any meat and seafood purchase
$2 off any Health & Beauty purchase
$1 off 2 Wild Harvest packaged salads 5 oz or larger
$3 off the purchase of 2 Equaline Aller Ease 30 count

Hubby got the mail today and according to him the mailman was not as kind to deliver one of these for us ~ but there always is tomorrow right?

How are you getting through the very expensive deli meat now? Even the previously cheaper stuff at 4.99 a lb (ugh) is now 7.99 a lb.

I'd love to hear some answers because I can't afford sandwich meat anymore! I'm happy to get a turkey breast or whatever, but none of that is on sale, and not everyone eats that.

Do I need to rethink what lunch is?Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Hi Heather! I have had to get deli stuff at IGA in Bath, they usually have Great Lakes american for 4.99 and I can get a sale on Turkey or Ham, Willow Brooks or Kretsner(sp?) for 5.99/lb. But yes we have had eggsalad too often this summer, lol!

Thanks for replying Steph- I eat egg salad- none of the res (5 pple) will. My youngest eats chicken or tuna salad with me- the other 4 won't. One won't eat cheese - and they are all so sick of ham- being the cheapest because only my husband will eat bologna- it's nuts.

I'd love any ideas. I'm always willing to buy yogurt/fruit/bagel ideas but yogurt has skyrotted in price to- I won't eat beans (think of 14 years of being forced to eat them and throwing up each time) so I can't even have them in my house.

Oh- I hope you guys can help me!wave

Has anyone done 8 'Buy 4 for $10, get $2 oyno GM items' in one transaction to see if you get 2-$2 coupons? I know the backpage items are all working okay, I'm only going to Shaw's once tomorrow and I'd like to get Granola Bars and the fiber one brownies in one trip!

Are multiple transactions frowned upon in general now or is that only if you're trying to double more than 4 like coupons?
It's hard to tell, I always do multiples, just becacue of how far away I live, and if I have an item for a MIR I do it seperate. When the new policy came out recently, it said back to back transactions wouldn't be allowed anymore, but if you look at the policy now it just says that multiple transactions to get around the limit of 4 doubled coupons is not allowed. I have been told at one store I go to that they don't care about selling me stuff, don't care about me using coupons, but no back to back transactions because of holding up a line (took the cashier longer to ask about it than it would have taken her to ring in my two orders of two items, but whatever!). This week I have purchased and gone back into the store and have had no problems.

The one I printed didn't have a regular bar-code, the space where it should be was blank, so I didn't even bother using it.

Cross your fingers that MB comes to Maine and we get their deli prices!!
Hannaford has a Turkey Breast called Carolina skinless, it is pretty good, I tried it when it first came out and it was super salty, but it has less sodium now, so I get it when nothing else is a decent price (basically all the time!), it's regularly $5.99/lb, they have a smoked for $6.99/lb.
Basically we get what's on sale, $5.99 stuff at Shaw's this week, $3 Ham at Hannaford. DH took PB&J 3 days this week cuz I hadn't gotten any meat. DS prefers PB&J - he's so easy!

See my post on facebook/shaws

Dan says they can just enter the upc, but he doesn't get it - there is no upc, and the coupon wont scan.
Maybe if several post this they'll fix it. (yeah sure)

I normally buy packaged lunch meat when it has manager peelies on it. I also buy the OM that has two types it it with the $1 peelie and freeze it. I used overage at WM to cover the OM, but the others I normally buy when they are $1 for the small pack or $2 for the bigger ones. I've got a stack of lunch meat in the freezer for later.

BTW: Stratham has a BUNCH of clearance baby/pets/organic items. Stuffed in the normal clearance section as well as the end of the aisle right across from the meat case there. I saw Similac Sensitive (the green and orange varieties) for 5.99 minus 50%. Also Good Start and Enfamil ready to feed and some powders. Nuk pacifiers, bottles, baby food. Some small appliances (coffee pot and rice maker),

Also fans and grills are mostly 50% off. Also summer outdoor stuff such as grill accessories, patio furniture, tiki torches, etc. Saw box fans for 34.99 minus 50%, 6 piece patio table, chairs and umbrella for I want to say $80 after 50% off.

Portsmouth is out of Viva (there were 4 left after I dropped DH off) and has a handful of toothpaste left.

Stratham had tons of toothpaste but no select-a-size and plenty of prints for viva. S&S had tons of both (plus tictacs are on sale for $1).

N. Hampton had sufficient viva but I forgot to look for toothpaste. Frown

Got through half my coupons, got a buttload of the extra CATs for everything from deodorant to cat food advertisements.
