This is the CVS Coupon Discussion thread for questions, scenarios & chat for all coupons (including Manufacturers) that can be used at CVS.

This is the only thread due to the fact another thread that had CVS coupons only turned into a begging thread and was full of abuse.

No 20% off coupon in my upcoming Northwest, IN ad, either. I'm starting to get really depressed. I can't get my hands on a % off coupon for anything!

I hope it's okay to ask this... I've been out of the coupon loop for a while. Can I print the 20% coupon from an ad that has it?

I had a rain check for AccuChek Nano meter sale price of $9.99 with no quantity stated since the ad did not say anything about the limit. I used the rain check to buy 2 meters tonight and asked for the rain check back. The supervisor told me that he could not do it because I cannot keep using the rain check forever. I still have a lot of coupon left and now no rain check to redeem it.Mad

Has anyone used the $5 off Lumene CRT that printed this week? I remember using one a couple of months ago that seemed to be coded as a $/$$ and scanned at only $3.19 off when I was getting a $3.99 item. Does this current CRT still scan the same way?

Yes I reported it a few pages back that it scanned as a max discount of $4.79 off only. Cashier manually pushed it through as a CVS coupon for $5 off.

I used mine on a $3.99 item and they had to adjust it down.

Hi, the following was my plan at attempting to maximize my savings using a 20% Off Coupon:
Nexxus 3 x $17.29 = $51.87
CVS Coupons - $10/$50, $5 Beauty Rewards, $1 GBT = <$16>
CVS Mfr Coupons - 2 x P&G $10 EB = <$20>
Coupons - 3 x $3/1 Nexxus IP = <$9>
20% off Nexxus less CVS Coupons ($51.87 - 16 = $35.87) = <$7.17>
Sub-Total = <$0.03>
Tax = [($51.87- $16 CVS Coupons - $7.17 20% CVS Coupon) x 8.75%] = $ 2.51
Total = $2.48

The following is what my transaction really came out to:
Nexxus 3 x $17.29 = $51.87
Coupons Used:
CVS Coupon $10 ($10/$50)
CVS Coupon $5 (Beauty Rewards)
CVS Coupon $1 (GBT)
CVS Mfr Coupon $10 (P&G)
CVS Mfr Coupon $10 (P&G)
Coupon $3 ($3/1 Nexxus IP)
Coupon $3 ($3/1 Nexxus IP)
Coupon $3 ($3/1 Nexxus IP)
20% CVS Coupon $5.18
Sub-Total = $1.69
Tax [($51.87- $16 CVS Coupons - $5.18 20% CVS Coupon) x 8.75%] = $2.69
Total = $4.38

Although there is only a difference of $1.90, can someone explain why things didn't go according to what I had planned? All coupons were scanned, but how come only $5.18 was given as 20% off instead of $7.17? I just dont get it...I don't think my math is wrong...TIA

The math is saying something worth $10 actually rang up as a CVS coupon. Was one of the $10 ECBs (from P&G) manually entered in any way including beeping for whatever reason? It looks like that's your culprit.

Edit: It looks like you used one of your $10 ECBs from the P&G deal last and it needed to be adjusted down to ~$9.70, right? I think that's what did it. If a caramel or other small filler worth $0.30+ had been added, everything would've gone through as planned. In your original math, your subtotal is actually -$0.30 and not $0.03.

Sure, if its an online paper that has it, we have done this lots with 4 off 20 coupons. Let us know the link if you find it.

Where was 20% from and what does it ring on receipt?

I can confirm that 20% from 3 day ad rings as "xtra day discount" and does not deduct from any cvs coupons.

I read on another forum that the 20% only took off 10%, and it looks like it happened here as well (CVS Q do not effect it like previously reported).

Has anyone used it today as well?

Were those previous $4/$20 newspaper coupons unique barcodes?

I get two copies (subscription) LA Times & the barcodes/#s for the 20% aré different from one ad to the other.

I agree, not a good idea to use a copy of the 20% Qs from today's paper. My two delivery papers also show unique codes. Sorry!

I should know this, but apparently I don't. I know if I print the emailed coupon today it extends the exp. date. If I send it to card does it also extend the date?

Trying to figure out if I need to stop house cleaning & go to CVS today (I accidentally hit the send to card button Doh)
