Thread Details

This is the CVS Coupon Discussion thread for questions, scenarios & chat for all coupons (including Manufacturers) that can be used at CVS.

This is the only thread due to the fact another thread that had CVS coupons only turned into a begging thread and was full of abuse.

If you use MQs to eat into tax, you'll have a negative subtotal.

It's also possible to have an overall negative total. If that happens, the register won't allow the transaction to complete.

Obviously a cashier can deny you at any point as well.

CVS Coupon [cvssavingscentral.com]
Save $1.00 on any two (2) bags of Hershey's kisses chocolates (12 oz.) or two (2) pouches of Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Minis

Retailer: Coupon cannot be combined with any other offer. Offer good on 1 Kisses or Reese's Chocolate Packaged Candy 8.0z or larger.... blah blah redemption info blah blah.

Claimed that it has a max value of $8.49 in the fine print.

Also, share and get $2.50 in savings. Expires 1/8/13 as of today's printing.

That coupon will always auto as long as the register sees at least $7.49 of BIC products in your transaction.
The only YMMV is whether or not the cashier will allow it to auto, and sadly no one can answer that 100% for you, as it depends on the store and the cashier in question.

if i m buying 2x $3.99 razors, the total is ard $6. how is the system taking it to be more than $7.49 of bic purchase. does it calculates using regular price only

Ok hes saying specifically about going negative with B1G1FREE mfq and sales like bogo or bog50%off,not by the actual $/1 manufacturer q eating into tax other products in your trans, right?

because someone posted earlier that you cant get overage with a manu q only if its a bogo and autos and with cvs q
you dont get any q overage to pay for other items if you scan your card after a product/s anymore right?

sorry just want to clarify to get it right..

OP's post/question had nothing to do with overage. He/she was asking about paying sales tax via the use of MQs being handed over last. Those MQs aren't providing any overage on the items they're for. Presumably EBs or other CVS Qs are paying for the remaining balance on those items.

Can confirm that 25% off emailed coupon is working on Halloween clearance. I've never managed to get lights at higher than 50%, so went ahead and picked some up today.

If you're talking about the 10/7 SS, watch the expiration date. It expired on 11/4

The Bic BOGO coupon from my insert doesn't expire until 11/11. The Schick BOGO coupon expired 11/4.

I got an e-mail from CVS Diabetes club with a link to the entire Diabetes book [cvs.com], Q's included.
Has anyone resolved the issue with the Diabetes book printing out very blurry coupons? How did everyone set their printer settings?
