This is the CVS Coupon Discussion thread for questions, scenarios & chat for all coupons (including Manufacturers) that can be used at CVS.

This is the only thread due to the fact another thread that had CVS coupons only turned into a begging thread and was full of abuse.

I hope this is the right thread for noobs to ask questions. If there is a deal requiring you to buy two of something to receive ECBs, does CVS track this?

For example: Buy two blabalh and receive $2 ECB. If I buy one, will it track or do I have to buy two in the same transaction? I know Rite-Aid requires both to be in the same transaction, so I wasn't sure if CVS was the same. TIA!
your blahbalh bounce will track!!!

How will the pepsi coupon works?
I have a raincheck that gives extrabucks.
I wonder if it will still work even after price is modified.
Thank you.
Well, EBs from a raincheck will need to be manually printed anyway. So there's no real concept of it "working" or not, it's just whether your cashier would be willing to both let you use the coupon and print the EBs. (Frankly, I see no reason they shouldn't allow that, but as with anything cashier-dependent, there could be a YMMV element.)

and if they are just like other SQs
Will the M&Ms count $3 pre-coupon price for the $4/12 get 3ecb?
Pretty sure they should just deduct the "maximum $x value" amount as stated on the coupon (e.g., Pepsi coupon will deduct $1.84, M&Ms coupon will deduct $1.12, etc.). So yes, the M&Ms should still count the pre-coupon price...although I think that deal requires buying 4 items (not $12 worth) anyway, so price shouldn't matter anyway. But if you're using a $/$$ for example, then the pre-coupon price ($3) of the M&Ms should count toward the $$.

ETA: By the way, when someone gets around to actually using one of these Qs, I'd love a report back on whether they ring up as CVS or CVS MFR coupon - thanks! Smilie

I used the pepsi coupon just a bit ago. Cashier had to enter the code # on the coupon and it came off as CVS MFR COUPON (-1.84). HTH!

Cash card question... Because they're basically a gift card, can you:

Reload any cash card from any card?
Use any cash card to pay with any ec card?

I ask bc I used my parents' cards to buy Nivea, but I don't use them otherwise, so if I get cash cards with those ecbs I'd want to use them with my own card.

Cash cards are not linked, so can use for any cards. They are great because you can use it to pay towards tax, and no expiration date.

Thanks so much! I know some of you guys juggle multiple cards regularly, but since CVS is currently a side hobby I only want to use my own (unless its something sweet like the Nivea and my parents haven't already done it). Sounds like I can cash out to one card then Smilie

I used the M&M Q and it beeped. No idea what the beep was, I was at a new cashier and I kept asking him but he wouldn't say anything. Finally he manually put it in a $1.12 COUPON. I had over $30 in my order and was only using 1 4/20, so I don't think it was a x/xx conflicting beep.

If your cashier allowsWink To my knowledge, most of the stores have instructed cashier to just manually enter the coupon amount according to the price of product we buy, instead of scanning the BOGO Qs. HTH

If you haven't got $2 Clear CRT, you may still have a chance. It was printing for some end of last week. I got one today!!! With bogo and $3 peelie and $2 CRT not free but great filler with $/$$ or even %off.

Has anyone here been able to use their Extra care bucks, green bag reward dollar bucks, or the coupons that come from the ecb machine AFTER they have expired?? I'm terrible at making decisions and then my bucks expire. Anyone able to use them?

They can be used for up to a week with no beeps, if your store knows how to do it.

Something you said that doesn't make me want to bash my head against the monitor. So what is this beepless trick?

Lol, good response from you. Wow. Someone should have taught you not to throw out an insult right before you ask a favor, lol.

Oh yea BTW no " trick" to it. Experienced managers KNOW what to do.
