Thread Details

This is the CVS Coupon Discussion thread for questions, scenarios & chat for all coupons (including Manufacturers) that can be used at CVS.

This is the only thread due to the fact another thread that had CVS coupons only turned into a begging thread and was full of abuse.

I had to call again about my 20% ES coupons. Didn't get them last week or the week before. *sigh*

I got 2 last week, one on Tuesday and one on Saturday, which does me no good because I need 1 per week, not 2 in one week and then none in the next week. (My store won't let me stack them.)
I wish I understood what they are doing. Expected one on two cards last Thursday, and got none. Never got one on one of the cards - at least still not so far. On Sunday, the other card got two. Both had different codes and stacked fine.

And the second time I called on that one card that is missing them, the girl found 5, she was going to issue them all for me. I only got one, then two days later, got one from them printing correctly. Totally inconsistent and unreliable.

I've been thinking about really stocking upon the Nature Made Minis since they're essentially free and have a great point value for the Costco checks (4 bottles of multis =$7 check). But when I was on the NM site yesterday, I was browsing the FAQ and saw a lot of questions like, "Why were my points taken away from me?" and "Why was my reward denied?"

Anyone have much experience with the NM reward program? Any problems? Are they pretty reliable?

I enter points and recieve the coupons all the time. Never had any problems, other than only 1 per month (per account Wink) policy.

Same here. Two weeks in a row I got them on Tuesdays, and last week got it on Saturday (got two in one week). Good thing they're printing cuz this is a very old card with no phone # or right addy attached to it. Even my name was spelled wrong on it. I got it back when extra care cards just came out

I only get MFQ, and I think they are good for 4-6 weeks, I have none right now to check for sure, on the time frame. Sorry!

It's usually 3 months from the date on the check and I usually get them 2 to 4 weeks from the date on the check. They seem to usually issue (and date) them around the 21st of each month so even if I order it around the 1st of the month, I probably won't receive it until close to the 1st of the next month or shortly after.

What's the benefit of requesting the Costco check vs MQ? Can the Costco check be used on anything at the store or cashed at the register (like the AMEX rebate checks)?

Yes, they can be used on anything in the store and you can use multiple at a time if you have them.

I used a 20% Email from last week(expiring today). I bought Tide (sale), Tide Boost Vivd White (non-sale), Schick Hydro (non-sale, ecb producing). The odd thing was that it only took off the 2 Schick Hydro's, and not even the Tide Boost, which isn't even part of any promotion.

Anyone ever seen anything like that before?

Did you use a $/$$ by chance? Or maybe a beauty club ecb? Or a manually printed ecb?

I used (1) 4/20, the other ECB rang up CVS MQ.

This is what I initially planned:

4 Tides: 5.94 x 4 = 23.76
4 Tide Boost: 4.49 x 4 = 17.96
2 Schick Hydro: 4.29 x 2 = 8.58

26.54/50.30 = 0.5276 x 8 (CVS Q used 2-4/20) = 4.22
26.54-4.22 = 22.32 x 0.2 = 4.46 (was expecting 4.46 to come off), but only 1.58 came off.

After some recalculations, and I was only able to use (1) 4/20 instead of 2, realized it was just the Schick that counted for it.

8.58/50.30 = 0.1705 x 4 = 0.682
8.58 - 0.682 = 7.898 x .2 = 1.579 -> $1.58

The receipt shows the Tide Boost as regular priced too...so very odd, especially since the Schick worked for the 20%.

Have you checked to see if the Tide Boost is listed in your regional ad by chance? All I can think of is maybe your ad had it with the price in it, and that's why even though it's not listed as a sale price on the receipt, it acted like a sale price.

Anyone else with an idea?

Tide Boost In-Wash Booster is listed as a sale price in my ad ($4.49 with card). The Tide website has the Vivid-White pacs listed as an in-wash booster.....
