Move each letter back 3 in the alphabet or something like that.

Oh, I thought it was unscramble them, or some such. Never paid attention to it as they have always made a word in the past.laugh out loud

That is news to me, also. I watched the silly little video and no secret clues. I will go over the entire email beyond the translate box that contains the jumbled word. I'll report back if i see any solve procedures. Is it in the download app? I never download random apps. We need the Mentalist for this decode because now, i see books or journals on the page, one w a hand and the # 3 on it. Obscure much?! Or, kids are just smarter than us. lol

Perhaps, lilmotto will tell how he translated it?

The code decipherer was in the email it was the list of letters with other letters underneath it. Or maybe it was on the link I clicked from the email. I can't recall.

Hmm?
My email is titled: Peculiar things are happing in Gravity Falls.

Is that the same email heading? Opens up to DIsney showcasing Gravity Falls and its characters and an app, video snippet, the gravity falls decode box, etc.,...

Thanks for the code!

Not sure why some people are having trouble with this. Right under the secret code was a "Translate Now" box in my email. Was this not present in yours? If you click on the "Translate Now" box is gives you the cypher to read the message. Super basic decoding. Reminded me of the kid in "A Christmas Story"--drink more Ovaltine! No video watching, no app downloading, just 30 seconds to write down the letters.

Yeah, I figured it out once I got beyond the assumption to unscrambled it. But, i'd googled the mega-decifer before reviewing the email on a pc vs cell. The clickable prompt stood out in desktop mode.

Actually, had crazy fun at work w the more advance Gravity Falls, plug and play, decifer.

That makes more sense when you say you were on your phone. I was wondering how you missed the "Translate Now" Box!Smilie
