glad it worked out well for you. you're like 1 in a million . i think a lot of people ended up feeling "scammed" by this identity protector. i know i did.

i never even received the gc they promised... cancelled the service after a few months (they only charge you if you maintain a balance so i ended up just paying my transactions immediately after i made them - very annoying). i didn't bother calling kuz VS CS would just tell me to sign up for something else that i didn't want just to get the gc that i was owed. i.e. when i first signed up, i was conned into it - i had called to report a missing angels rewards as i hadn't received it for like 8 weeks, and they said they couldn't re-send the angels rewards unless i signed up for that protector thing. i feel like that's like blackmailing or something! grrrrrrr stupid vs cs.

so yeah. proceed at your own risk! i did finally cancel it and i haven't seen it on my bill since it was cancelled.

Is Victoria's secret giving out birthday codes to email subscribers now? I received one in my email May 1 and I've never had their credit card.

Wow! I had no idea that people had such mixed experiences. I was offered a 30day free trial for the ID protector. I signed up, called and registered my VS angels card. A few days later I called and cancelled the ID protector. Since I cancelled within my free 30 day trial, I had no charges and I got my $20 GC yesterday.

Guess I got lucky!

They make such a big deal about getting the cc but they don't give special treatment like they should, might as well use your cc that gives you money or points for other things.

With that ID protection, i signed up, never received the gift card. so i called and complained and they said the free VS GC promo was over but they sent me some generic Visa gift card.

I ordered a full price bra with FS code along with some other items. The bra isn't really comfortable, and I want to return it. Can I return the bra through USPS instead of the UPS label? Also, will they charge for shipping on the other items after crediting me back? Very clueless about VS. TIA.

You can use either label. They will not retroactively charge for shipping, but they will charge for return shipping. It will probably be cheaper to use your own postage rather than their label.

I got a coupon in the mail today, May 3rd, for a free tote with $75 purchase. It expired may 1st! Was valid from April 19 to May 1st. I blame the post office.

Woulda really liked the tote, it looked cute.

I just bought my mother the Heavenly Angels perfume set for Mother's Day and saw that there is a $10 off $50 survey coupon on the receipt. Is there anyway i can buy another set and use the coupon on that and then return the original gift set? Will they give me back the receipt if I use the coupon or is that a no-no? I just feel really stupid buying it for the full price, something that I never do.

When I use those survey coupons, I usually rip them off of the recipt in front of the cashier. This way, if they want to see the date (so it's within the time frame), you can show them. It won't be a problem if you ask them if you can keep your receipt. The short answer is yes, this is possible, and you'll save $10

Thanks so much! I have never used a survey coupon before so I am completely clueless about how they work lol.
