if that red thingy is kinda shaped like a finger and the slit has foam on both halves and runs most of the length it could be a CD/DVD cleaner, make sure you go from the inside out with your disks so you dont damage them. I used mine a couple times to clean those rental DVD's but I think a soft cloth and eye glass cleaner works better.

I used mine once and it didn't work/actually scratched the blank CD I used it on. I may have just gotten a bad one though!

I had one and after a couple uses it scratches the discs so be careful
I intend to stick to rinsing with water to rinse it off and drying from center out, was told not to dry following grooves around the circle

Always wipe the disc surface in a non-radial back-and-forth motion (from the center hole to the outer edge). Don't follow the concentric circles while cleaning, it will damage your disk. I do not use the GAC cleaner for a really dirty disk, I use lens cleaner and a soft cotton cloth, tea shirts are good. I find finger prints on rental DVD's quite often, probably greasy hand lotion, the GAC cleaner is not good for those. If you are still not sure, go to a rental outlet and ask them how they clean disks, that's what I did.

Also, don't forget to clean the cleaner or you will be just rubbing the disk with a dirty foam thingy.

I am glad someone had luck with the mystery prize. In december I got an ornament. last month I got a carabiner bottle holder, of which I already had two from trade-ins.

I have prayed and chatted with you for so long I hate to think we will no longer be in touch, nor find out how everyone is doing, esp. cowboy Dave. Is there another site to check in and se? I do look at US 99 once in a while and know some present and past gac fans post there but there is no personal info exchanged

There is always the lounge that CBD set up, otherwise, can we still use this site?
