GAC TV has a "Superfan" website that you can earn points that can be redeemed for various freebies. Registration is free and it doesn't cost anything to redeem points. I've been doing this for a while and have cashed out for several items (Cap, T-shirts, mugs, keyrings, etc.) If you check the site daily it doesn't take that long to earn enough points. If you want, you can also use the points to enter contests.

www.gactv.com/superfan

The points are pretty easy to earn by answering surveys, trivia questions (easily found by wikipedia or google and muliple choice can be guessed until you get it right), clicking featured links, & bonus codes given out on GAC. During racing season, you can also earn points by picking race results and occasionally other pick the winner opportunities.
To earn the most points, check the site daily, new surveys & trivia are added often & the links can be clicked everyday.

Quote from GAC :
All the Points you earn will be valid for 6 months following the END of the month in which you earned them. So if you earned Points during any day in January, these Points would expire 6 months from January 31st. When you use your Points, the oldest Points are always spent first - first in, first out.
No longer working: Check your point aging occasionally (click on "My Account", then click "Points Aging"). If you have points about to expire, do this to extend the expiration date: Thanks CountryTom

Everyone check to see if you have any aging points ready to expire.I know a way to save them without spending them.
Don't lose any more points.
1)Go under Casino
2)Click on Platinum Blackjack
3)Click on Buy Chips
4)Enter all of your points
5)Click Buy
6)Click on Close & Cash Out
7)Click on Proceed with Cash Out
8)Go under My Account and click Points Aging
now all of your points are good for 6 months.

Another way of extending point expiration. Thanks Troubador:

I found another way to save points from expiring. Its not pretty but you can purchase chances in "Scratch and Win", they are saved in your account until you use them. The problem is you can only cashout your winnings. I purchased 1000 chances at 500 points each and let me tell you it is taking FOREVER to use them. There is always that chance of losing, but what the heck, its no worse than buying those lottery tickets! nodlaugh out loud

Update: it took me a little over two hours to play those 1000 chances and I ended up winning my inital investment plus an extra 30500 points. For the 3,000,000 points you are trying to save it would take you about 12-14 hours. I'll let you decide if its worth it.
Next "Superfan Weekend" April 1-3, 2011.

Hopefully we can all share codes and trivia answers here as well.

All codes for special superfan week/weekend can also be found in the blog here:

Is it common for GAC to take away all the trade ins after a superfan week? I dont remember them doing this. They usually have at least a few left. I have about 1.4 million points left and I dont feel like spending them on a contest that I have no chance of winning-- espically those that are not operated by GAC

You first click on the contest, and when the info comes up, click on Show More Details (or info), and for reward, it will be a MM which is multi media contest or an L, which is a local contest, meaning gac fans. I didn't look through all the contests, but I did notice that the Pigeon Forge trip and Easton Corbin's Ram Jam are both L contests. It's usually MM for all times other than superfan events. Good Luck if you choose to bid on a contest.

On Memorial Day, I want to say thank you to CowboyDave and any other members we have here that have served in the military and your families for the sacrifices each one has gone through to perserve our freedoms. What would our country be now without the service of our men and women in uniform!!!! God Bless you always!!!!
