I love that movie. Wasn't scary for me but I was completely into the whole story. If you want to watch a creepy movie, watch a korean movie "Tale of Two Sisters". Kinda slow but DAMN, some scenes were just CREEPY.

Spoiler: I didn't really observe when he was fighting, but I noticed his instincts and senses when he was traveling and there was the girl with the cart calling for help and he said, "there's one good thing about not having soap...you can smell your [enemies or something]". I also noticed when he was at the "hotel" and he smelled Mila's mom's hair and commented on her perfume but it was her shampoo... but those types of things are quite typical, so I didn't think too much of it.

Then when he was walking with Mila, he talked about how he was traveling by walking west for 30 years, traveling not knowing his ways but traveling by instinct... after the "flash" occured, which most likely blinded him. Hence the need for his sunglasses, but this is the tricky part because others were using it as a shield from possible flashing...while he might've used it just to protect others to see that he was blind?

Another movie I saw and forgot to mention:
Get Him to Greek: 2/5 - I'm not so fond Russel Brand, but I watched it for some laughs. The movie was entertaining at points and kind of like at some points. But overall good to watch when bored.

Watched it early this morning. Have to say that I thought the first one was much better. Then again, I'm a rabid right winger which might explain things as Tropa 2 was fairly left leaning.

nope, by the time i realized i might actually want to watch the show, it was already halfway through season 2. so i just kinda...waited.

last year i got in on a slickdeal and bought S1-S5 on Blu-ray for $108 (even though i'd never seen a single episode ) and i just started watching S1 on Friday night. i'm about 17 episodes in already

i know i'll probably hate the ending, but i'm going to watch it anyways. i think i know bits and pieces of what goes on throughout the show, but i can't remember many specific details.

Don't watch it for the plot, watch it for the characters (so many likable characters, even the ones you will hate). That should help with the ending, it did for me.

it's funny you say that, because i just finished telling a coworker this morning how much i'm in love with this show and it's almost entirely because of the character development. every single person has their own story and you hear about all of it. i mean, the suspense is great, but the characters and how they interact and how they're all somehow strangely connected in various ways back in Sydney - that's what i really love.

This is the advice I was going to give, too. It's easy to get into all the mystery and plot, but it's best to just take it as fancy graphics like in an action movie. Just focus on the characters for the most part. They are all really easy to get attached to (except Kate...). Even Frogurt and Arnst (however you spell their names).

I didn't start watching until season 4 or so. My friend had them on DVD, so I borrowed them and watched till I was all caught up. Watched the last two seasons on TV. A lot of people seemed to get lost while watching it on TV... I guess because there's time inbetween to forget about stories you might not have seen for a bit, whereas watching on DVD you remember pretty easily.
