Turn that frown upside down, I really liked it. But the big bot movies of the 80s I grew up with so seeing a remake in HD was awesome for me. I could care less about the cheeseball storyline, overly dramatic dialogue, and formulaic ending. Hell most of those type of movies are like that so I'm not expecting that much. But the visuals were great so I'm with you.
Haven't seen Pacific Rim yet, but the previews make me wish someone would do a live action Voltron movie.

Wolf of wall st. Some funny, but it didn't hold my attention as much as I expected. Lots of boobies in this one.
I wasn't really into the movie and felt like I was watching an extra long episode of an HBO show like The Sopranos that filled with pointless sex scenes... I mean, I didn't know that Terrence Winter had written it or anything, so I found it kinda funny when I saw his name in the credits.
I busted my daughter out of school for a half-day yesterday for her happy half birthday, and we went to see Divergent (2014). Thankfully it wasn't quite as violent as the book, as that may have freaked her out a little bit. In any case, a great time was had by all!
No one cares that you saved an extra nickel on this same deal back in 2007. If it doesn't apply to the current deal, please keep it to yourself.
Thor - I liked Dark World better. This wasn't as funny or interesting. And people were complaining about Dark Elves and how it reminded them of LOTR. Here you have Frost Giants which remind me of The Jolly Green Giant and frozen vegetables. We can probably all agree that originality in plots is somehwhere in the wearhorse (?) as the Ark of the Covenant.
So the sequel is better than the first Thor? That's good.
Now we begin the waiting game to see if Thor and Captain America can elude the trilogy curse.
