Do you use the "No Wait Rebate" option?

Randomness 44 May 4, 2010 at 01:36 PM
Just wondering out of curiosity...

I ordered a cpu from tigerdirect.com, which had a $50 MIR. The rebate is processed through Worldwide Rebates, and offered a "No Wait Rebate" option.

Basically, you pay them a small percentage of the rebate (in my case $4, or 8% of the rebate...im not sure if it varies with price), and they "expedite" rebate process from around 5-8 weeks down to 1 week.

So how many people use that option, vs waiting for the entire amount?
If given the option, do you use the "No Wait Rebate?"

I had some from OCZ (2 from memory and 1 from a PSU), decided to wait for all of them, OCZ asked for 10% I think

Depends if your short on money. I would rather wait the extra 4-5 weeks in order to get the full amount.
