Rite Aid Receipt RAOK and Trading Thread - **ONLY RA receipts and/or RA rainchecks are allowed for trading and/or giveway**

kpark and others, I have some suggestions on how to organize the wiki. Just some thoughts floating about in my head, which people can take or leave... I'm just putting them out there for consideration, as I think they would help improve the orderliness & usefulness of the wiki, and make this thread easier to use.

The previous thread was just for RAOKs, and that wiki was geared towards RAOKs. Since this current thread is for both RAOKs and trades, the wiki that was copied over from that "RAOK only" thread could use some tweaking for this new dual purpose. To that end, I would suggest having separate sections for RAOK offers, RAOK desires, Trade offers, and Trade requests. So it would be something like this, for the main sections:

RECEIPTS FOR GIVEAWAY
RECEIPTS NEEDED
RECEIPTS TO TRADE AWAY
RECEIPTS TO TRADE FOR

And within each of those four sections, there would be subsections for specific SCR or GC offers as they come up, i.e., when someone has or seeks a receipt for a specific offer. Example, using info from wiki:

RECEIPTS TO TRADE AWAY

MAY SCR #1 - J&J - Spend X amt, get $5 - Valid dates - Last submission date

ALLERGY GC #552 - Assorted products - Spend X, Get Y - Valid dates - Last submission date

Then, I would suggest that people not post in the wiki a list of all their available and/or sought-after trade or RAOK receipts, as that could make the wiki visually unwieldy if each person needs two, three, four, or more lines to list all that they have & all that they seek in trade. I think it would help make the wiki faster & easier to check through, if people put their detailed individual info (i.e., which specific SCRs they don't need receipts for or would consider in trade) into a post, and then put the post # into the wiki, so other people can check their individual post for those kinds of details. People could post under the appropriate subsection with a simple line consisting of "DATE - RECEIPT AMOUNT - POST # - USERNAME" Example:

RECEIPTS TO TRADE AWAY

MAY SCR #1 - J&J - Spend X amt, get $5 - Valid dates - Last submission date
Date - Receipt Amount - Post # - Username
Date - Receipt Amount - Post # - Username
Date - Receipt Amount - Post # - Username

[EDITED TO ADD: And for situations where a receipt has qualifying items for more than one offer, just put it under all the offers, with a brief note in parentheses indicating it has $$ towards so-and-so other offers, i.e.,
Date - Receipt Amount (also has $$ for Allergy #552) - Post # - Username ]

And as far as wiki maintenance, weekly reminders to people to clean out their fulfilled offers/requests/in-search-of's, and then complete removal of entire subsections when last submission dates have passed.

Re the "Fulfilled Offers/Requests" sections, it seemed to me that In the "RAOK only" thread, the "Fulfilled Offers/Requests" sections didn't really get used by most people. Most people would just delete (or leave it to others to delete for them) their active offer or request when it was fulfilled, as opposed to moving it over to the fulfilled section. When people did use the fulfilled section, it was to post thank-you's, which could just as well be done in the posts, pm's, or reps, I think. So, personally, I don't think it's necessary to keep that section.

Anyway, my 2 cents on wiki organization. And now that my head is clear of those ideas, I can move on to other stuff! LOL Have a good rest of the day.
