CVS Clearance Thread

Salvage update: miss something at the CVS beauty clearance sale? Did your favorite product disappear from the shelves one day?

Walk on down the sidewalk to your local Big Lots, where you can find many a cosmetic item with the "Only for sale and 1245 Main St. CVS" sticker! I was amused to see dozens of lipstick tubes hanging from do-its [do-it.com] on a peghook!

I know my Big Lots is unusually messy (I think about eight people must work there), but please make sure these items are sanitary when you buy them. Some of the Revlon lip glosses had been repackaged into two packs, but there was plenty of lipstick and foundation just sitting around with no safety seal whatsoever. Also, plenty of lipstick and foundation smeared everywhere.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but GUM Perioshield is marked down 75% (around 2.50-2.75) and there is a $5 coupons here: http://www.periobalance.com/coupo...-page.html You also get $3 back with Savingstar so it's a $3 MM.

Discovery kids, spa stuff, telescopes, massagers and hopefully pillow pets ( my store has tons) will be clearanced as of 7/15. But prices actually changed today.

Thanks, some of these have already been reported and discussed, although not all stores seem to be following the schedule.

Am I just being a dunderhead? You said perioSHIELD is on clearance, but the coupon and the Savingstar are for PerioBALANCE.

PerioBALANCE is gum & you get $5 SS.

If only, though, CVS could be a little more 'clean' with their clearancing of products, it sure would be nice!

I noticed some of the boxes of Pampers, that had 'Get it Now' stickers, no longer have those stickers. They do have a new shelf price, down from $28.99 to $27.99. There were never any of the boxes actually on clearance. That's just very confusing!

my store just clearanced out the Pillow Pets last week out of the blue, was the only store in Phx that did. The MGR sent me a cell pic..... within minutes, there had to have been 30+ ladies fighting in the store. Baby ones were $.99, big were $1.49. She held a box for me.. of Ladybug ones, I got 4 and paid just over $6. Totally awesome.

I wonder if this is regional - I went to 3 different store and I didn't see them, unless I'm totally missing Them- where are yours located in stores?

My stores don't normally carry PillowPets, FWIW.
