Thread Details

Cheap Beer for AZ, CA and NV - Bud, Coors, Miller 30-pack $10.77 at Safeway or $10.99 at CVS after $6 rebate.

Ad (see page 1):
http://cvs.shoplocal.com/cvs/Defa...CVS-100627

Coors Rebate Details:
$6 rebate on ONE (1) 30-pack or 36-pack
Good for Coors Light or Coors Banquet (12oz. bottles or can packages)
Purchase must occur between 4/15/10 - 7/9/10
Valid in CA and NV only.
Consumers may participate in rebate up to THREE (3) times during rebate period.

Miller Rebate Details:
$6 rebate on ONE (1) 30-pack or 36-pack
Good for Miller Lite, MGD, MGD Light (12oz. bottles or can packages)
Purchase must occur between 4/15/10 - 7/9/10
Valid in CA and NV only.
Consumers may participate in rebate up to THREE (3) times during rebate period.

Note: I believe the Coors & Miller Rebate Offer Numbers are different so you may be able to purchase six 30-packs or 36-packs.

Bud Rebate Details:
$6.00 rebate on the purchase of one (1) Budweiser Family or Michelob ULTRA 30-pack or one (1) 36-pack (cans).
Purchase must occur between: 05/16/09 - 06/06/10 New Rebate: 6/21/10 - 07/10/10
Limit: $6.00 per address
Valid for residents of AZ, CA and NV only

Note: The Bud rebate looks to be only 1 rebate per address (Limit: $6.00 per address).

More thoughts: I would suggest purchasing each 30-pack or 36-pack seperately because you need to send in the original receipts. I have seen the rebates stuck onto the packages at Safeway ($16.77 30pk.), Lucky, RiteAid ($17.99 30pk.) and CVS ($16.99 30pk.) stores. Since the rebate states 36-packs, I am sure you could purchase at Sams Club or Costco and mail-in the rebate. Finally, the rebates are also good for $2 off 12-packs and $4 off 18-packs.

Thanks to jw430 for the rebate scans. The Miller rebate looks exactly like the Coors one, but I don't have a copy of that. Also note: The Budweiser one pictured below is now expired, but the new one looks very close (blue ink vs. red ink).

I prefer micro, craft, and import beers too and I agree, Stone is OK, but tell me where I can get 30 Arrogant Bastard Ales for $9.99 - $10.99???

I use this CHEAP beer for Beirut (beer pong) and drink the good stuff on the side...

Unless you're a dirt poor college kid you should not be drinking this crap.

If you want fairly decent beer for dirt cheap go find a trader joe store and buy "the simpler life" beer in 6 packs (the lager is better than the pilsner). It comes up to 50 cents a can (with no rebate hassles) which is cheap and you actually get decent beer. It's not great (but then again you're not spending big bucks) and yet it's way better then the flavored water they call budwiser, coors, etc.

Cheers

It is actually called "Simpler Times" Lager. It is not that great, but at $2.99/6pk., it is cheap and you don't have to deal with rebates. However, you do get good alcohol (6.2%) bang for the buck...

there is a line in the movie "in bruges." the guy brings two beers he says
"one gay beer for my gay friend and a normal beer for me because i am normal." i will take the normal beer with rebate you keep your other kind. also simpler times is simply disgusting i would drink budweiser over simpler times any day. but i would drink simpler times over budweiser because it is such a cheap buzz. but trader joes is so far and filled with hippies. it's a toss-up. i saw this rebate listed in the local Tucson Basha's ad for wednesday 5/26.

I usually send away for 1-3 of these cheap beer rebates off each year and I have never been denied. They usually come back quick too... At least that has been my experience in the past.

Got a pack of Bud Light from CVS. rebate form is on the front of the box. i didn't see the rebate form on the Coors or Miller box. Maybe it's inside like OP said.
