1) I have a Serve account and my account is linked to my bank account can I transfer the funds to my bank account without any amount limits?
No, there are monthly limits but like I said the GCs don't expire for years.

Quote :
2) How do I initially load the funds from the gift card to my serve account? Are there any fees from the gift card's side?
Most important: Register your card(s) at the address on the back otherwise your Billing Addresses won't match.

You go to 'Add a Card' and select 'Debit' and just enter the info, the funds are verified and then you can transfer, withdraw, etc. You shouldn't incur any fees from the GC side and there are no fees from Serve until March of next year.

Keep in mind, while it's free, these are also a good way to convert those refund gift cards we get into cash as well Big Grin

I was sorting out my pillaging bag, and counting up my $20 cats, and was short 3 of them, so I went nuts scouring all my stuff trying to find them. I found them. In a blob, in my pants pocket, along with the lotto tix and receipt from last Wed., it all went through the washer & dryer, welded it all into a blob. I wasn't giving up on $60 in cats so I spent a half hour with tweezers carefully prying it all apart and taping the bits back together, but the barcodes were fouled up enough they won't scan. So, I figured why not at least take them to PM and ask if they'd still take them, the really nice cs lady was there, she checked them out, asked her manager, they both agreed they were good enough and would let me ring my order up at the cs desk whenever I wanted to come back & use those cats, push them in manually. I figured I was already in the store, nice cs lady on duty, so I got a visa gc, paid with normal cc, went to the car, and decided screw it, this is ending in a few days, so i went right back in and got another one, paid with the gc I had just bought & $6 cash, easy peasy!
I am trying to buy a big tv, found one on walmart.com, but their site only takes 1 payment method unless you're using walmart gc's, so using 2 x $500 prepaid visa gc's wouldn't work. I thought it has to be easy enough to buy e-gift cards & get them instantly by email, but no, even though I was logged into the mygiftcard site, and could see the $$$ on the balances change to reflect my attempted purchases of walmart gc's, walmart approved 1 purchase of a $100 gc (dummies only sell increments up to $200 - why?), got it right away, then the other 2 orders of 2 x $200 gc's got hung up as 'processing', eventually cancelled because walmart claimed they couldn't get the charges approved - which I know is nonsense, since I was logged on and saw the balances change on the visa gc site. They did change back though. I tried another angle, the reload option to put $$ on an existing gc, but that only allows $100 max, and only 1 reload per day!?!?! Why, walmart, why would you want to deter me from an impulse buy of a $1,000+ tv? I finally gave up after multiple cancelled orders for gc's and rejected attempts to reload the existing gc, and decided screw it, I'll use the remaining $700 on the 2 prepaid visa cards to buy a different tv on amazon, by buying amazon gc's online. Amazon took the visa cards as payment for a $300 an $400 gc, delivered by email instantly, but by then it was 1 am, so I decided I'll conclude the transaction when I got up in the morning for the panasonic tv they had. This morning I get up, click over to amazon, the damned tv was pulld by amazon with a blurb about they stopped selling it because of customer complaints that the description on amazon was wrong, or costomers complained about packaging, or some other issue! So, now I have $300 on walmart and $700 on amazon, and no tv on its way to me. It's like they don't want to help me burn through my money!

gc deal ends this thursday 12/6 according to this week's PM ad. Hit it hard & hit it often!

It's like the gods don't want you to have a new TVlaugh out loud
My PM is getting really tough ! Rolled the GC into another paying with my GC but as I was finishing the CS woman noticed that the CC number on my receipt din't match my CC that I gave the cashier with my ID. I told her they are the same color so I must have used it by mistakeshake headThe transaction was already finished and she said there was no way to put the funds back on the GC so she had to let it go through.
I used my GC to pay bills online so I might just use cash and buy1 more and use it to buy gifts and pay more bills. Can't.stop.myself LMAO

Free money (ok, 90% off money) can be habit forming!
When I did my 2 gc deals this morning @ PM, with my favorite cs cashier, I overheard her say she was working until 4 pm. I am seriously considering making up some excuse to leave work at 3 pm so I can get more gc's while the good cs cashier is on duty, roll that gc into a new gc. I have alot of food to replace since the storm last month, had to dump almost an entire freezer full of stuff. Thankfully, my still huge butter stockpile was rock solid & ok. I was kind of surprised I didn't find any stray frozen chimichangas when I cleaned it out.
On general principle I'd really prefer to write off walmart and not spend any $$ with them, but now I have $300 in walmart gc's. What kind of idiotic policy prohibits putting as much as you'd want onto a merchant's gc? Why would they limit online gc's to $200 max, and reloading gc's online to $100 a day? How is it that Amazon processed gc orders for every last cent on my prepaid visa cards, instantly, and walmart was hung up on 'processing' for 2 days until they finally cancelled? Dummies.

Not sure if this helps your situation, but I recently found out that Walmart.com now accepts CASH payments for online orders. So if you place your order online, opt for paying in cash in store, then you'll have 48 hours to go into the store with your online order number and pay at the register with the payment of your choice (cash, cc, debit). I used this feature after losing my debit card on Black Friday, I was then able to shop Cyber Monday and then have my mom go down and pay with her credit card.

I appreciate the tip, but I'd rather wear a beard of bees than set foot inside a walmart.

Ahh, yes... the roll. I did it again successfully at a different PM at the CS area. While getting ready to check out, a Front End woman was YELLING at a guy for trying to buy a GC with a GC and how he was stealing from PM. Poor guy had to use his CC for the Visa card...

I have been able to successfully roll four times. The closest store watches like a hawk and doubtful I will do it anymore. Boy, it's been fun..

Good deal:

Crackerfuls and other Nabisco (Ritz) are 2.49 and if you buy 3 you get $3 off your order instantly

so start with 7.49
instant -3.00
left with 4.49 minus any coupons you might have
75/1 FREE

If you have three of the 75/1-- there were printable Crackerful coupons a few weeks ago; there's a 75/1 peelie floating around.... even with the 1/2 from the paper comes to $1 for a box of Ritz.... then use the $20 off and pay even more nothing....

My car was in the shop all day today, still not done when I got done work, so I'm having PM gc deal withdrawals. I managed 7 of the gc deals, 3 using cash or cc, the other 4 were rolling the gc into another gc. I managed to use 3 of the gc's for a big tv off amazon, so they got used for something I would have laid out cash for. Now I have to figure out how to use up the 17 x $20 cats I still have left, which won't be so easy since I had to get rid of the big freezer that got ruined in the storm, moved everything out of it that was still good into the kitchen freezer, which is now packed solid. Maybe since I'm stuck home with no car tonight, I'll dig through the freezer and see what I can toss, to make room for ice cream and sausages.
For anybody that wants to parlay this into another good deal, there's a thread here on sd for a Pyramid Beer 'food pairing' rebate that runs until Dec. 31st. Buy $10 on one receipt of any combo of stuff on the list (bacon and chicken are on the list, that was good enough for me so I skipped reading the rest of it), no beer purchase required in NY, NJ and some other states, mail the rebate form and receipt, can put 3 rebates in one envelope, get $10 checks pretty fast, limit 3 per address.

I have 16 of them left.... and today I bought $50 in Shell cards (at register, they said no giftcard to pay, I said ok, sure) ... "credit" and it went through fine with the GC and my $3 in groceries after using the cat... producing a new $5 cat.

Shell isn't pictured is it? Any other GCs that will give CATS?

Check their policy folder at the CS desk; The policy states any GC over $200 paid by CC must be accompanied by ID. They have it wrong. You can buy any amount & pay with cash; If the amount is over $200, then they must check your valid ID. Went over this with Corp.
