My wife is going to be quite pregnant in August, which portion should she skip? Safe to assume auto-cross is probably a horrible idea
Unless you are actively shopping a Caddy, I'd skip the entire thing. If you insist on going, then Averwind was right on in writing that your wife should pass on the Acceleration portion. However, since she's the driver, she can temper the g-load by not accelerating as quickly.

The full schedule for Tesla's The Electric Road Trip is now available to view on the attached website. The events are apparently held at places that are "charging partners" of Tesla. The website shows just one date per city; I believe the email invitation links show a range of dates (usually Fri-Sun).

https://www.tesla.com/electricroadtrip

You fill out the RSVP form, and then a Tesla representative is supposed to call you to schedule a time. However, it is possible they may not end up calling either.

The Smart event in Allen, TX was Ok. Just let us drive in a circle in the outlet mall.

The gifts were cool though, a $20 American Express Gift card, and sunglasses.

Apparently they don't care about Texas.

Be patient when you RSVP. I did receive a call from Tesla a few days ago despite RSVPing for the Ojai event last week. Set up for Model X this Sunday 2p.

I just did the BMW Team USA event. Excellent.
Drove the 340i, 650i, X1, Lexus NX and X5.

650i is awesome but out of my league. 340i was it's usual self.
Surprise for me was the X1. Found it to be pretty nice. Tight suspension and great handling. Lexus NX had a much more relaxed suspension but much better seats than the X1 but more wind noise.

Nice, do you know what you'll be wearing so I can look for you? We should definitely try to meet up. I'm also scheduled for the 12:30 time slot.
