Photography thread - for Schoob

Schoob asked for people to post their photography in a thread.
I'm not a pro, but I take some good photos and I have a sincere passion for photography. Soon, I hope to learn more and take some great photos.
Since Schoob wants to see a thread about photography, here are some good ones that I took of Luray Caverns last weekend.
As you can imagine, it's tough to get good photos in a cave, but this is my favorite view of Dream Lake inside the caverns:

Here's the formation that I think looks like a little resting sherpa carrying his pack. Or, if you look at the back of the formation, it kind of looks like Vlad Dracul.

This is my favorite picture that I took of the Wishing Well:

Here's one of the ceiling of one of the caves:

And one of some contrasting stone:

Some of the peaks and glaciers of the Olympic Mountains, as seen from Hurricane Ridge.
Some Mountain Goats on Hurricane Ridge, unfortunately by the time DH made the hike up to the top peak on the ridge, the Mountain Goats were headed down the mountain.
not nature, but It's great colors and I love long shutter speed shots
We used Western Prince Whale and Wildlife Tours in Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, someone DH works with recommended them. I would use them again, they did a really good job and seemed truly concerned about the Orcas. There were two naturalists on board to discuss what we were seeing and answer questions, although on some trips I think they only have one.
They did some stops on the way to and from the area the Orcas where in to show us Seals, Bald Eagles and the Steller Sea Lions. We were also lucky to have a marine biologist on board too, she was hitching a ride, trying to get pics of the new baby Orca and I think she got some with her longer lens. All I got was the babies fin sticking up between his momma and his aunt.

If you take the ferry directly to San Juan Island (the westernmost island) you can then island hop back eastward to the mainland. It's the cheaper way to see all of the San Juan islands.
Yeah, this is the conversation I had with a friend last night.
When we passed Speiden Island, everyone on the boat pulled out their phones since it's a US island with cell service. Everyone had to get their Facebook notifications.

We put our phones on airplane mode since there was a good prossibility we would go into Canadian waters and were so busy looking at wildlife, I don't think any of us ever gave our phones a second thought. But of course it's not always like that, we happened to be there on a very good day as three of the Orca pods were in the same area. There were Orcas all around us at one point. It was like the one pod was showing off the new baby to the distant relations.
This tour doesn't guarantee you'll see whales or Orcas but they said they will sometimes extend the tour in order to travel further into Canadian waters find them for you. All the tour companies share leads so they pretty much know where the whales and Orcas are if any one company has spotted them that day.
