shower, lunch, housework and then i'm gonna take a bunch of coins to bff's house and i'm gonna drill decimal points and fractions into her 10yrs old dds' heads.
can i just say was reading some online fan fiction last night and there are a lot of perverts out there!!! definitely need to keep a close eye on your kids!
Good thing most places sub experience for degree these days. *sarcasm* I think we could all ace the interview for sure!
Nikayla! How are you? How was vacation and your birthday?
I've wondered how your job hunt has been girl. I keep thinking I should finish my schooling but can't decide if it's worth the cost in the long run.
We have had so much fun. DH was gone working most of the summer so we squeezed a few short vacations in right before school started and the weekends right after. CA was awesome, wish we could have stayed longer! Lake Powell was so much fun until the last few days it got rainy and kinda cold so we left early but it was so much fun.

Thanks for the warning! I know exactly what you mean about the fan fiction now that you mention it. I didn't realize it exhisted but can only imagine. Both my DDs are huge Hunger Games fans I'm sure it's out there for that book as well as pretty much anything popular. I know there is a tun of crazy stuff out there about the edward, bella, and wolf boy story. I'm so glad my 15 yr old DD computer hasn't been working for the last 8 months. Going to have a talk with her about it, TY!
I have never heard of it - what does it do?
it's a coupon upload app - here is the link http://snipsnap.it
you can do a search on target for example and it allows you to snip coupons that others have posted
also, you can put your own coupons on it to use
just wondering how well it works or if anyone has used it

And nothing like springing right back into reality. On call at the hospital all weekend so no rest Oh well, atleast I will get the chance to make some extra money to replenish what we took out of the account for the trip.
Just wanted to say that I am loving my keurig vue this morning. Finally getting around the messing with some of the features. Brewed myself a nice huge 16 oz travel mug full of coffee this morning. It is delightful
Tomorrow is our church's anniversary Sunday, plus we are starting revival services, so this coming week will be very busy. Just made plans to meet with a friend on Wed and take a walk, so I am looking forward to that. I have started teaching piano lessons and accompanying a high school choir, so my life has gotten fairly busy of late. I am enjoying it, but it does mean less time for shopping and keeping up on deals. Just gotta figure out how to manage my time more wisely.
Hey L2B, How was Disney? Hope you had a relaxing time with your family. We are thinking of planning a quick trip in Dec but was wondering what the temp was like then? Of course, it is freezing here in Dec. So we have no idea whether it is capri or jean type weather there in Dec. I really wished we lived closer, it takes us 2 days just to drive to Disney. uggh! But DH loves to drive so it will be fine.
Hey Flug, Were you the one having problems with your Keurig? Ours is short cupping and I have ran several cups of vinegar thru it and it isn't better yet. How many times does it take to eventually get it working? I remember reading about you (i think it was you lol) having the same issues.
On that note, I was really excited to find an 80ct box of Folgers kcups at Sams club marked down to $9.01. These are regular price of $37.xx. I bought 3 boxes (one for my mom)!
Going to spend this week getting ready for a yard sale that I plan to have this Sat. I have sold sooo much on FB buy/sell site, that it may be alot smaller than my usual sales. My reg. customers will be shocked when I have about 1/3 of what I normally have. Really hoping to at least make $200-$300 for some spending money for Disney, if we end up going.
Walgreens is soo lame lately that I just don't have the stockpile that I would normally have. I am having a really hard time getting into the new points system. Have pretty much given up on Wags. BTW the cashier at the beauty counter said that it is soo slow that they are cutting their hours and asked me if I knew why couponers have stopped shopping there. I told her to pass the word on, that their new rewards system stinks and if they want more customers they need to do away with it and go back to rewards! Just my opinion....

My short-cupping was really bad and it took 3 descalings over the course of a couple days to finally get it to where it should be. If you can tell its still short-cupping after running one reservoir of vinegar through, you can skip the plain water part and just fill it back up with vinegar. Good thing we got all that cheap/free vinegar from Target earlier this year! I had to grab some from my yard sale stash!
Hey, I'm gonna have to go check out Sam's Club for those K-cups! That's a phenomenal deal!

Ok Thanks so much for the info. I am doing this now. It is short cupping about 2 oz. But it has been quite a while since we descaled it. So like you said, it will probably take some time and patience!
never been to disneyworld in december but have been in january. heavy sweatshirt during the day and very chilly at night which comes relatively early. think fleece pullovers and jkts.
went to a williams-sonoma techniques class this morning on soups. i emailed the info to bff so i figured i would copy it here too. now that she's been home for 6 months she's gotten into cooking but she feels like a beginner and it takes her hours to find recipes she wants to make. she's also finally started planning in advance what to cook instead of opening her fridge at 6pm b/c her kids are hungry. but still making excuses not to attend free cooking classes. really, what more do you want??? somebody shows you how to cook something and you do not have to use the williams-sonoma products they are demonstrating, they will tell you what to buy at the supermarket and how to prepare it, you can ask as many questions as you want and you get to taste it unlike watching tv cooking shows. and it's free. whatever. stop telling me you need help. help is out there. you can't be so afraid you are going to waste your time when it's something you specifically want help w/. should try it at least once b4 you decide whether it's for you or not. you also get 10% off most of the stuff in the store that day. i always check the clearance and have gotten some good stuff. today i also got 2 cups of coffee from their demo-ing the new starbucks coffee pod machine. one brewed coffee and one latte. the milk comes in a separate pod. 2% milk powder.
they are going to do thanksgiving classes starting last sunday/monday in oct for a month so i signed up for that. as for the technique classes, next wk is vegetarian so i passed on that but the following wk is cupcakes! bff asked me why and why not? i know how to bake. just haven't done it b/c dh has been overweight for the last 15 yrs or so but he lost it and has been maintaining so maybe i'll take it up. i pretty much have all the tools so i don't even need to buy anything.
Williams-Sonoma Technique Class on Soups
-the most important thing i learned is that you can make soups in the oven.....and then you don't have to stir them. 350 degrees for 1hr for these soups.
-you can freeze these soups for 3 months
- she put the soups into a pitcher for easy serving at the table
-she used spanish lentils to make this soup.
-you could use soy crumbles or liquid smoke to substitute for bacon for the smoky flavor
-she threw in the whole twigs of thyme and just fished them out at the end b4 serving
-she used less spinach b/c she thought 3 cups was too much and she wanted it to be lentil soup over spinach soup.
-she didn't cook it any more when she put in the spinach. just let the soup wilt the spinach
-you can use tomato paste from a tube or portion the leftover tomato paste and freeze if you use a can.
http://www.williams-sonoma.com/re...-soup.html
-you can use apple instead of pear for this soup, granny smith, macoun, not red delicious
-you can roast the butternut squash by cutting it in half, put olive oil all over and put cut side down on a baking sheet and bake half an hr till knife comes out clean
-she used an immersion blender for less mess

Thanks! We had a great time relaxing?? well, mentally yes.. physically absolutely not
We have done Disney in December. I loved it then. Depends on when you go. If you can go early before it gets near the Christmas crowds, it is very nice! We went the first week of December several years ago. Crowds were minimal, Christmas decor was nice, and weather was perfect to me. We wore jeans and short sleeve shirts. We took hoodies with us and needed those first thing in the morning, but by noon or so we took those off and were very comfortable until evening. Layers was the best thing. I would say you could totally do capri pants, but I would plan on something long sleeves or a light sweater as well. The only negative I can say weather wise was that we were not able to enjoy some of the water rides. That year we went to Universal and DH really wanted to ride the popeye boat ride so we did. We got soaked and were freezing. My MIL and FIL were with us and not happy at all after that.
We were originally planning a December trip this year, but couldn't work it all out. My DD doesn't finish college finals until too close to the holidays.
