Thank you to missusg and mcube for starting up threads for the individual stores for Northern California.

Due to how the timestamp works - it is with apologies to mcube (who started the Lucky thread) that your post is now #141 -- When a thread is merged the posts go in timestamp order.

We're not too rigid, any deals of NORCAL interest welcome

Been recommended that I tell people to play nice, just post deals and no fighting

I like the idea of a Raley's/Bel Air/Nob Hill forum--sometimes they have really good deals.

Me too! I rarely shop there unless I know about a deal cuz there is a Safeway across the street and it always has something going on!

Lets convince missusg to change the title on this thread and get it started now! woot

I found the peelies on boxes at Biglots yesterday. Since they don't even accept coupons I had no problem taking them!

You can do this multiple times. It just takes $3 off for every 3 you ring up!
Great tip about Big Lots! I have to check them tomorrow. Are you saying you can have multiples in one transaction? If so (and if I can't find the $3/3 Q) it would be nice to be able to use the $1/2 IPQs on 6 to get them down to 50c each.

Yes, I got 15 in one transaction with no problem. I used self check and it took a while for the machine to decide that my total was $0, but it just printed out a receipt. The checker guy at the end wasn't sure how that happened! He looked pretty confused!

My parents live in California and shop at Raley's; when I visit them I am astounded at how expensive the store is. They do have great customer service but wow, I feel sorry for people who don't search for sales (like my parents). Cereal for $5.69, mayonnaise for $5.50, bread for $4.39, these are prices I saw back in the summer. $50 will get you only a few bags of food. Raley's needs their email coupons.

Great info! Thanks! I need to head to Big Lots. Unfortunately, I bet the Chex will be out again like the Aquafresh was a while ago ($1 and I had $1 Qs). It took them forever to get it back in, I wonder if I can get a raincheck for the 3/$3.

The one in Carmichael had an entire endcap filled with them. I took 15 and made no dent at all. I may go back today since my family already emptied a whole box!

I'm easily convinced. How do I change it? What shold I change it to? Just Raley's Deals?

Stuff may be more expensive but their meat and produce is so much better than SW or our other local mid-price store- Lucky.

That would be perfect! Just add in a disclaimer about it being the official place to post Raley's/Bel Air/Nob Hill deals (Actually, you should probably put all three in the title), and tell people to play nice, just post deals and no fighting!

Thanks! woot

OK, thanks for the guidance!
Took awhile to figure out how to change the thread name. couldn't do it by editing in place - had to view my messages and then found a link to "threads started" and from there I could access the title...I'm sure there's an easier way but I seem to learn things by'Head Bang

So I got my 15 boxes of Chex and used 20/100 thinking Chex covered my first $30. It only was credit for $15 though. I was at $80 so got more chicken. Spent $60 a/c.

Had some SW rubber chicken the night before (chix tenders, no less!). We already gave up on SW beef, now I think we'll buy all our meat from Nob Hill. Maybe fill up the freezer quarterly if they continue with the 20/100..

At our NH, the cashier told me he didn't understand why more people didn't get in on this offer. The $3/3 peelies were in the store! I ended up getting 21 boxes for free and left plenty for others (including the peelies). I went Monday night and got the last peelie (with two more that I had gotten on the boxes I had bought).

Oops! I just realized I haven't checked this week yet. Our address doesn't get the mailers at all and the mail man doesn't always remember. Ugh. I like the e-coupon for the natural burgers though.

missusg, my neighbor works at the Hollister store as a bookkeeper, but I don't think she knows much about what promotions are coming up. She was pretty surprised about the first round of 20/100.

Off to go check the weekly ad....

Hmm, not too much, but depending on the variety of Gold Medal Flour, that might go well with the $1 off whole wheat. I also have some of the $1 Viva peelies from Kmart that would make those 1.59. We haven't had clementines at all this season, so the $1 Q from 12/7 will make those even cheaper than Costco. The 50c peelies on the sliced Tillamook at SW would make Nob Hill a pretty decent price this week too. LOL that they are having their own Keebler deal.

Anyone see anything else that would make it worthwhile to go?
