How about sharing all the great deals we get at shoprite here? Let's just keep this one thread until we get "bigger". Please, post your best deals.

WIKI should have all the weekly deals and we'll keep this thread just one. All are encouraged to add any coupons/deals to such. Happy Shopping!!!

Ok, you of course have to have coupons, so here's my last trip breakdown:

20 satin care gels $1.99 paid $.99 each after coupons
20 puddings $1 paid $ 0 each after coupons
10 capri suns $1.88 paid $1.88 each no coupons

total before coupons: $78.60 Paid $38.60 got $25 GC so really after GC I paid $$13.60, I think it was a really great deal.

ps, you can even lower your opp if you want to buy Head & Shoulder shampoo that's on sale for $3.99 and there's a BOGO from last week's P&G coupons. So if you substitute the 10 capri suns for 4 shampoos, your total would go down to $75.76 and after coupons to $27.78 and only $2.78 after gift card!

At my store, I bought 6 H&S and used 3 H&S BOGOs and they all beeped with an error similar to "not enough items purchased to meet coupon requirements". The cashier could not push it through to take the $3.99 off and it required a manager override. After looking at my receipt, I *think* what happened is that the $3.99 sale price was after an instant $0.40 MQ, so with the BOGO coupon the register thought I was trying to use 2 MQs on 1 item. Each of the 6 H&S looks like this on the receipt:

$4.39 H & S
-$0.40 MQ

Does this sound right? I don't shop of Shoprite all the time so I wasn't sure if this is typical of how sale items ring up there.

That should not have happened. My receipt shows the $4.39 then a shoprite credit for the $.40, so made it to $3.99. But then at the very end when the cashier scanned my coupons, she had to manually enter the bogo coupon, meaning she scanned one, then entered - 3.99 for each pair that I had. No problems there at all.

Here's a good deal that I did: There's a coupon from this past paper P&G for satin care shaving gel for $1 off, and it's priced at $1.99, so I bought 20 of those. I also bought a couple of packs of Capri sun that's priced at $1.88 (no coupons, but a great deal). Bought a couple of head and shoulder shampoos (there's a coupon for bogo this past P&G). And jello pudding, bought it for $1 each and had coupons for $1 off, so free (coupon was this past SS). Anyhow, this deal is for any products from Kraft, General Mills, and P&G, so there are way too many ways to do a great trip. This is just one that I personally made.

By the way, I'm not looking for reps if you're not going to take advantage. But since I'm a shoprite buyer on a weekly basis, I thought that there would be others. I, personally like one thread rather than a bunch separate ones. I didn't see any "one" shoprite deals threat like there are cvs, stop & shop, etc. So, if there are others who want the thread, please, let's share, if I'm alone on this, mods can feel free to remove it.
Thanks, and repped for this thread.
Our stores will only take 4 'like' coupons. And you can only get 4 of an item at the sale price, I think. Its written in the 'rules' at bottom of ad page.
FYI you can also use any free coupons. But you must make up the $$ amount for any doubled coupon amount. Its all in the info in the ad.

Has anyone tried seeing if you get a 2nd $25 GC for another $75 worth of qualifying purchases? I know the ad says limit of one but I wasn't sure if the registers automatically enforce this.

yes, you can do it more than once. but, not the same day. our store is watching for this.
I find that the best way to do this deal is NOT to stock up on more P&g stuff unless its free.
And every store around here is watching for more than 4 of the same Q, so you have to be crafty.
I have found that the best Qs to use are all the buy X get X free kraft Qs out there. There are a bunch and you can use them on multiple products while staying in the 4 max Q zone.
I must warn you, that trying to get useful food with this deal is hard, but can be done if you trade for enough of the kraft and gm Qs.
The best way to work it is: get 4 of the buy any 3 kraft items and get free cheese. do not use on the pictured cheese. it works on all kraft cheese.
now, make sure that the 3 items that you are getting are either free with other Qs, or come to under a buck.
you can also use the 25 cent packs of koolaid for this.
Then there are the buy 2 nabiscos and get free coolwhip Qs.
Use 2 1/1 nabiscos on this. you cannot also use a coolwhip Q.
Then use any free item Qs that you may have that are for ANY kraft, or gm and for most p&g,[I have the complete list, but do not know how to post it. it is on the shoprite web site].
ALL the qs that am mentioning except for the parade Q are non inserts.
There is a 2 off a1 sauce and any kraft. the a1 is 2.99 and if you follow this formula you will have a lot of kraft.
if you got the new mailer free south beach Q[up to 8.99] then use that and try to buy the highest price you can. I found a large pack of the south beach bars for 8.19.

the free digiorno pizzas also work on the non sale digiorno so you can get the full 3.29 value out of it.use the buy 2 jellos and get 1 free.
If you stick to only the high value Qs and the frees, you can still work within the 4 Q limits and it will work. I got 84 and change worth of kraft and general mills for a total of 17.50.
then I got the 25 gift card.
putting all these Qs together is hard,
and I have been begging,[Hi, Marcia]
and trading for them all week.
but you do have into the beginning of july for this deal and you can still buy and trade for these Qs.
I seems complicated and it is,
but if you remember that every high value Q comes right off the top of your total and these are 10 different types of these out there, you can do it even without the frees.
And, the best part is, you will be getting mostly all food items that you can use, not just more drugstore items for your stockpile.

Hey girl,
you can get only for of EACH type of item.
that means you can buy pizzas with pepperoni and 4 without. also 4 of any other type. you can use only for fo each type of Q, that means only 4 of the exact same Qs.but if you have 4 with one ex date and 4 with another, that is 2 different types of Qs.

OK--re the "limit of four" subject. Usually, the limit only applies if the item is on "Price Plus." If it's just on sale w/no PP card needed, unless someone questions it (which almost never happens), all items will ring up at the sale price (hence the 20 shave gels and the 20 jell-o's previously discussed). Secondly, the limit of four coupons of the same type only applies (at least in my store) to any coupons which are doubled or tripled. A $1 or higher value coupon, therefore, is not limited at all (again, the 20 coupons for the shave gel and 20 coupons for the jell-o puddings as mentioned). Any store can (by disclaimer) limit just about anything they want, but generally cashiers just scan your stuff and your coupons--mostly without incident. It's the customers who do not always understand the limitations. Also note, that different expiration dates or different values on the coupons do not negate the limit of four doubled or tripled coupons for an item. The computer will "attach" the coupon to the item, and after four coupons, will not double or triple any more for that item. Hope this will help avoid some trips to the courtesy counter!
