Amsoil makes better oil than Mobil 1. Get educated.

They suggest you use/run the oil for a year before changing it. While the old timers may not agree, they claim it can run for a year no problem on your engine.

Becuse my corvette has a sensor that tells you how much oil life is left. I sent a sample to a lab with about 10% oil life left and they said I could have gone another 1000 miles. I get 6-7k out of a full synthetic oil change.

I just noticed at the bottom of their offer that they state Amsoil only needs changed once a year ..

I'm not exactly sure how any reputable oil company can say that - mileage is the most important aspect. So they are saying it doesn't matter whether I drive 5k miles a year, or 30k miles a year - I only need to change oil once a year. Granted I am aware of the company, but I still don't know how any oil manufacturer could ever say this.
