Not a rookie, but only has 2 games as a starter under his belt. Rodgers and Romo both had better offensive lines in front of them and more of a running game. Reid is too pass heavy to be concerned with protecting his QBs when the O-line begins to struggle. I'm excited for the weapons on offense but you gotta admit, that secondary is the worst it's been in well over a decade.

I am cautiously optimistic about the Bears this year. Only the second time since the mid 1980's I've felt that way pre-season.

I am scared to death my Jets will pull a 1999.

There's no way the Lions are winning more than 3 games this year. I can see the Bears winning 4 or 5.

I'm a Redskins fan but if the last decade has taught me anything it's to not be optimistic. I feel McNabb is an immediate upgrade but the line is still weak, IMO, and the new defense needs to be proven. Shanahan hasn't really been known for his great defenses.

I don't know if you could say Shanahan was known for them but the defenses on the SB winning teams were pretty darn solid. Especially up front.
