Predict the ranking of teams by division. Pick your wild cards and tell me who is going to win it all.

3. Dolphins
4. Bills

AFC NORTH
1. Ravens
2. Bengals (WC)
3. Steelers
4. Browns

AFC SOUTH
1. Colts
2. Texans
3. Jaguars
4. Titans

AFC WEST
1. Chargers
2. Broncos
3. Chiefs
4. Raiders

NFC

NFC EAST
1. Cowboys
2. Giants (WC)
3. Redskins
4. Eagles

NFC NORTH
1. Packers
2. Vikings (WC)
3. Bears
4. Lions

NFC SOUTH
1. Saints
2. Falcons
3. Panthers
4. Buccaneers

NFC WEST
1. 49ers
2. Cardinals
3. Seahawks
4. Rams

I would love to see a Ravens v. Packers superbowl - but I can't pick my team to win it all and jinx em.

So I say Chargers v. Packers Superbowl with the Chargers winning it all..

I don't know if you could say Shanahan was known for them but the defenses on the SB winning teams were pretty darn solid. Especially up front.
I think any SB winning teams' defense has to be solid but Shanahans', a former Off. Co., focus is certainly on the offensive side of the ball.

also don't forget the new attitude
Attitude is really important for a team, just look at the Jets last year under Ryan.
True. Zorn didn't really get along well with the players. Shanahan will command respect from Day 1.

Albert Haynesworth's first training camp under coach Mike Shanahan reportedly is off to a poor start.

The defensive tackle, who skipped all of the Washington Redskins' offseason workouts prior to camp because he was unhappy with the team's switch in defensive schemes, failed his conditioning test Thursday, a team official confirmed to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Haynesworth will not be allowed to practice with the Redskins until he passes the test, the official told ESPN.

FoxSports.com, which first reported the story, said that Haynesworth finished the first part of the test but walked through the second part.

The Washington Post reported that Haynesworth needed a bathroom break during the second part of the test and when he returned he had to start the second half from the beginning and was unable to finish the test.

Shanahan told Haynesworth on Wednesday that he would have to pass a conditioning test in order to practice with his teammates.

"I'm expecting him to be in great shape," Shanahan said Wednesday. "And if he's not in great shape, then we're going to do what we need to do to get him in shape.

"Once he gets to that point, hopefully he'll fit into our system and do the things we want him to do. Because, if he does, he can be an excellent football player for us. If not, we're going to be very good anyhow."

Asked if he expected Haynesworth to be a part of the team in 2010, Shanahan would say only: "We'll see."

"All I can do is tell you we're going to give him every opportunity to show us what we can do," the coach said. "Hopefully he'll like the position that we play him in and give us everything that he's got."

The "position that we play him in" is the main point of consternation for Haynesworth. He's unhappy with the Redskins' plan to go with a 3-4 defense and would rather play for another team.

Shanahan was ready to grant that wish in February and March -- but the door was shut once Haynesworth collected a $21 million bonus April 1, part of the seven-year contract he signed a year earlier. The deal is part of the enduring legacy of a decade of bad offseason signings under owner Dan Snyder.

There's no way the Lions are winning more than 3 games this year. I can see the Bears winning 4 or 5.

I'm a Redskins fan but if the last decade has taught me anything it's to not be optimistic. I feel McNabb is an immediate upgrade but the line is still weak, IMO, and the new defense needs to be proven. Shanahan hasn't really been known for his great defenses.
Maybe I'm way optimistic but I'm thinking 7 or 8 wins at least.. you guys realize they will be in Martz' offense and how the were missing a couple key defensive players last year, right? Urlacher and Tommy Harris. They can't hurt the D.

Sorry, I meant *at least* 4 or 5, meaning they'll definitely finish above the Lions.

or running game
or defense

How is Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams a bad running game? The defense is also going to be quite stout with 2 solid corners, now with a year under their belts, and the addition of Carlos Dansby. Who cares about Jason Taylor? He's old and washed up.

brandon marshall might help too, although I still don't see them winning the division, maybe wildcard...

Its all good. But if they get last in the division and win 4 or less games, I will probably give up on them for a few years and root for the colts or something. Stick Out Tongue well not the colts, I'm sick of seeing people jump on that bandwagon.
