Thread Details

Predict the ranking of teams by division. Pick your wild cards and tell me who is going to win it all.

AFC

AFC EAST
1. Jets
2. Patriots (WC)
3. Dolphins
4. Bills

AFC NORTH
1. Ravens
2. Bengals (WC)
3. Steelers
4. Browns

AFC SOUTH
1. Colts
2. Texans
3. Jaguars
4. Titans

AFC WEST
1. Chargers
2. Broncos
3. Chiefs
4. Raiders

NFC

NFC EAST
1. Cowboys
2. Giants (WC)
3. Redskins
4. Eagles

NFC NORTH
1. Packers
2. Vikings (WC)
3. Bears
4. Lions

NFC SOUTH
1. Saints
2. Falcons
3. Panthers
4. Buccaneers

NFC WEST
1. 49ers
2. Cardinals
3. Seahawks
4. Rams

I would love to see a Ravens v. Packers superbowl - but I can't pick my team to win it all and jinx em.

So I say Chargers v. Packers Superbowl with the Chargers winning it all..

Being a huge baltimore fan, im def interested to see how well the bengals will perform with TO on the team.. anyone think they know how to handle a premadonna wideout? I mean they have been doing alright with ochocinco (and he has already assumed the #2 role - this surprised me).
Don't forget they also have Pacman Jones....

...and Tank Johnson

...and Cedric Benson

...and Antonio Bryant

Should be interesting indeed.

Charles is small. Think Sproles from SD. TJ will give Charles some much needed breaks. Also, their draft pick McCluster appears to be a faster version of Charles, but he'll likely be used in the kicking game and maybe as a slot receiver.

Give me the over. I don't see KC having fewer than 6 wins this year.laugh out loud

Charles is arguably one of the fastest guys in the NFL.

I don't follow them at all and really don't care how they do. Last year though I said they'd go 10-6 and look at how that turned out laugh out loud

If they go 1-15 or 15-1, I couldn't care to be honest.

I live near Tampa. Disappointments and pleasant surprises are almost a daily thing here.

From the OTA's earlier in the year, numerous people have reported McCluster is the fastest person they've seen in person on a football field. This would include Charles.nod

I'm sure he wouldn't blaze past Charles in a foot race, but from the sounds of it they are comparable. The big key (as it was/is with Charles) is to see if he can hold onto the football at speed.

With 10 wins total over the past 3 seasons, I don't think anyone should expect too much. But a potentially weak division coupled with some small improvements should make it interesting.

As a Chiefs, Cubs and Royals fan, I know what disappointment is like. I have 3 playoff wins and no championship games in 20+ years of fandome.LMAO

Btw, I love the NFL. I could talk football all day long.

forgot to add also who's your LB/DLine again?
Dansby, Misi, Crowder is pretty nice actually. DL, Wake will be a beast this year, 6 sacks in very limited time, Odrick is suppose to be stout against the run, Randy Starks was our playmaker last year but gets moved to NT, we'll see how that works out.

btw xconcepts, no offense to you but im obligated to hate on the dolphins
you know how it is =P
I know how it is, I'm obligated to hate you and the jests too, lol....Big Grin

I'm by no means a Dolphins fan. I live in Indiana and root for the Colts and always have.

But the fins do have decent LB's. DLine, that's a different story. Karlos Dansby, Koa Misi(Expect him to stand out as a rookie), and AJ Edds on passing downs to rush the passer(Expect him to show some flashes in his rookie season).
Agreed, except for DL.

Of course TJ is better than LT (and why the Chiefs picked up TJ with Charles rocking the backfield is beyond me), but Shonn Greene is the show in NY.

(BTW, you don't have to censor "shitty," it comes through.)
Greene split carries though and while he did shread teams during the playoff I haven't seen much to be worried about him. Ask any Jests fan what they think about Ronnie and the WildcatBig Grin

we don't care about the wildcat
mainly cause our Defense played last season without a nose tackle.

I originally didn't like the first round picks either but they make sense given how badly the run blocking was for Gore. The picks were supposedly all Singletary's idea (which is good or bad depending how you look at it- this is the guy after all that was against drafting Patrick Willis)

If there is one positive thing about the Mike Nolan era, Patrick Willis is it. Just glad they stepped up and handed him a contract extension before it ever became a issue. I miss the days of Debartolo.

Watching the niners in this decade has made me appreciate how good we as niner fans had it in the 80's and 90's.

LOL, we also didn't have shit for a passing game either last year. Remember the first few games Pennington was our QB.
