At 10 weeks, I could move my arms and legs. I'm sure glad my Mom did not believe I was just a fetus or feel that she was just an incubator.

Can't we just have one thread on this topic?

Actually, you are treating Fox News, Fox Nation, and Foxnews.com as separate entities. That is a different argument, and even Fox trips up on what side they stand on that debate. OK Facts; we know Foxnews.com and Glenn Becks producer called the USDA for comment on this employees racist remarks late Monday morning. You are going to be on Glenn Beck tonight is what Ms. Sherrod was told on the phone by a USDA official. Foxnews.com confirmed the attempt with this blurb, posted before noon, Monday; "Days after the NAACP clashed with Tea Party members over allegations of racism, a video has surfaced showing an Agriculture Department official regaling an NAACP audience with a story about how she withheld help to a white farmer facing bankruptcy. And this diddy: "FoxNews.com is seeking a response from both the NAACP and the USDA." Fox Nation reported the story at approximately 1:40 PM, with this headline; Caught on Tape: Obama Official Discriminates Against White Farmer." Late Monday afternoon, Hannity went obnoxiously wild on his radio show about the video, and linked this racism with the NAACPs Tea Party comment, and the New Blank Panther nonsense. Breitbart, (surprise! Wow, how did Sean get that booking so fast?), was a guest on the radio show to discuss this video. About the same time (the 5:00 PM Hour) ,Drudge posted this link Shock; Video Suggests Racism at NAACP event. Hannity on his radio show said he would show the video on his Fox News show that night. So, the claim that she was let go before O'Reilly or Hannity taped taped their shows is dubious at best; Foxnews.com, by their own reporting said they had contacted the NAACP and USDA before noon for comment on the story. It was all over FOX Nation just after lunch, and Hannity had it on his radio show at 5;00 PM, two full hours before the announcement was made that she resigned. It was a manufactured news piece trying to paint the Obama administration as racist, as Hannity has been trying to do for the past year. I can believe Fox News was careful; Fox Nation, Foxnews.com and Hannity were not. |

However, Foxnews.com, Fox Nation, Beck, and Hannity had no reservations about tagging the administration as "racist." |

Did you miss that little part ? Also rather convenient is that you have completely left out the fact that CNN and the other networks were reporting on this story the same way Fox was after 9:00 pm. Hell, even left leaning Mediaite has explained this: http://www.mediaite.com/online/on...rod-story/
Just to make it easier, here are some quotes from the "as we laid out here" link in the story above:
So let's see if we have this all straight now. Many on the left have claimed that Fox News caused Sherrod to get fired even though she was fired / had resigned PRIOR to this issue even being broadcast on the airwaves by Fox. Looking at the title of your post, Hannity claimed that Sherrod resigned BEFORE his Fox News Channel program had even aired. Hmmmm, seems that he is absolutely 100 percent correct and ALL the evidence backs up what he said. |
