How to "unjailbreak" the iphone 4 and remove all jailbreak files
Title asks it all. Friend jailbroke his iphone 4, but wants to restore it back to factory settings and make sure that all files are removed from jailbreaking so he can have warranty again.The problem he encountered is: his iphone 4 locked up on him by trying to do a "erase all content and data." Now just the apple logo comes on. I don't think he bricked his iphone since he can hold the iphone 4 home button and top button together for about 30 or so seconds and the itunes and cable sign comes on and itunes asks to restore. Will that effectively fix his iphone 4 AND remove all jailbroken files? Thanks. Don't buy from buy.com (now known as rakuten.com). They failed to honor the rebates from Hanns, connect3d... etc that was advertised!! You have been warned.

Plug the iPhone into the computer and in the iTunes device page, hit "Restore". He will lose all of his music, contacts, texts, as well as the jailbreak.
