Thread Details

I looked up the company the does the coupons on the back of the cash register receipts at my grocery store, and discovered that you can do a zip code search and print out coupons for businesses in the general area that might not have advertised at your particular store. (It's also good if you've seen the coupon on the receipt, but didn't save it.)

My search found 985 coupons within 50 miles of downtown Houston (77001)

15% off Denny's
Free Whopper or Croissanwich at Burger King
Free Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese at McDonald's
$20 Firestone Oil Change
$17 NTB Oil Change

as well as coupons for cleaners, more oil changes, hair cuts, mufflers, DONUTS, more restaurants, nails, and just a pile more.

Some example coupons are below.

I figure if I had never heard that you could do this, a lot of people haven't. Heck, to ME this is FP news Smilie (To the more experienced, mebbie not so much :p )

I was looking into advertising myself on the receipts, and stumbled on to the print a coupon option in the process.

According to the manager at Denny's they do get a good number of the coupons coming in. No surprise there, it's the only place I know of to find a Denny's coupon more or less on demand Smilie

Just wondering, do many SD'ers pay attention to the coupons on grocery receipts? I'm thinking of advertising computer repairs, which is only worthwhile if I do it for months and months (since most folks won't save a receipt, but they might go grab one on purpose if they'd seen the coupon before and their computer broke.) Advertising isn't cheap, and I am Smilie So I'm really iffy about making the investment.

You know the coupons that print on the back of your supermarket register receipts? Haircuts, car wash, oil changes, restaurants, etc?

Now, the company that markets those coupons has put them online to search by zip code! Print out some good coupons for your area to save some bucks on things you might need!

YMMV on what's offered in each area, but certainly most of you will find something useful through this website.

I always look at the coupons on the back of the receipts especially at Target. I find there are quite of few decent coupons on them. If I don't like the coupon of course I just throw the receipt away. Oh and nice find OP. Will have to check it some more. TU. Just ran the site with my zip and no coupons within 50miles of me, but 87 coupons within 100 miles Frown
