" how do I cancel when my time is up?"... "manage Prime membership" link in account settings (that worked with turning off auto-renew on 'regular Prime') DOES NOT have that option for turning off the Prime auto-renew (i.e., when you start getting charged for Prime).
Look at a little link further down the page (Settings section) that says "Amazon Mom membership". At the bottom of the page from that link shows the cancel membership button. No button to turn off auto-renew in 3 months. So looks like one has to setup an outlook reminder to manually cancel in 3 months.

"How will I know when my free shipping benefit ends?
� In the third month of your membership, we will send you an e-mail that tracks your spending progress in the Baby store. This e-mail will contain a current end date for your shipping benefit based on how much you have spent in the Baby store."

"What if I have a Prime membership already?"

• If you have a Prime regular membership, they will refund the remaining and you will start on the 3 month free membership. Only bad part is you can only share with 1 person instead of 3 people.

You do NOT have to cancel this trial. Also from the terms of the offer:

The automatic renewal provisions in the Amazon Prime Terms & Conditions (which would require you to pay for Amazon Prime) do not apply to this membership, even if we decide to extend the free Amazon Prime shipping offer beyond one year.


The signup is actually for 3 months free prime shipping, with a baby products purchase minimum to continue the benefits for additional months up to one year. If you are currently a Prime member, you can switch the the Amazon Mom's program and get a pro-rated refund of the remaining paid Prime membership period, then get the 3 months free to start.

From the Amazon terms:
