Guvera.com - Free MP3s daily

Just a heads-up for anyone who hasn't registered for this site: http://www.guvera.com. So far, over several months, I've received more than 600 songs, all MP3s at 256k quality. And upon sign-up, you get a free album or two from the advertisers. The only pain is that you download one song at a time, so when multiple song credits are available, I easily waste a good 30-45 minutes searching for and downloading songs.

Quite the slick deal and super non-intrusive ads..

EDIT: Note that the September promo I previously mentioned is now dead, but my experience is that you still get a good 12 songs/month. Please post in this thread whenever you see a new advertiser show up and we can all benefit!

Currently no new credits are available; however, Guvera is promising new opportunities to earn credits "super soon" as of a May 14, 2013 post on Facebook.

Finding Music to Download:

Guvera has agreements with three of the four large music distributors: EMI, Universal Music Group, and Sony Music.
Google "EMI artists," "UMG artists," or "Sony artists" and you'll find links to fairly comprehensive lists of artists under those distributors on Wikipedia; not every artist, and not every album is on Guvera, though
Not every track is available to download; some are available to stream only

Random Suggestions:
To each, his or her own in terms of music taste. It's easy to spend hours searching Guvera, as they have some real gems (if you can find them). This is a list of artists with albums available to download (in no particular order). Note that albums and artists seem to vanish and reappear at random.

A few tips on getting the most from Guvera:

All songs are 256k MP3s without DRM.
This is completely legit as you can see in the Wired article in the original post. Sponsors that pay for songs include Sprint, Jack in the Box, AT&T, etc.
Guvera has a lot of lesser known EPs and remixes so search for your favorite artist--you might be surprised.
They also have a lot of karaoke if you're into that, as well as performance tracks of many Christian songs for those who want to perform them in churches.
Note that some songs will not qualify for certain promos, especially those sponsored by Guvera itself. If a song doesn't qualify, the promo won't show up on your channel list for those songs. Just try again with a different song/artist.
Make a note of any songs not available in the Guvera channel. Get these songs when advertisers in other channels sponsor music. Every song is available from other sponsors.

There are also other artists whose fan pages you can like to get free downloads from Guvera--that work for ANY song. Check the latest posts in this thread for them.

There's a channel called Guvera Channel - September Promo. If you subscribe to it, you get 31 mp3s a day.

Also, try downloading different songs. For instance, if I try downloading a Flyleaf song, the promo won't show up. But if I try to download an Amy Grant song, all 31 are available. It could just be the music you're choosing. I'm sure they're excluding music where they have to pay more in royalties or something.
