I'd hunt down the inspector that "approved" this house and remove their face with the tile removal tool.

You going to replace the tub as well? If so, use mortar mix underneath the replacement to help support the weight of the tub floor and the water.

I don't think theres anything we can do, it was hidden mold..and if they cant see it, there's nothing you can do. Although there are some that use mold meters..guess you live and learn. Dontknow

It was worse when I opened up the wall...sadly the bedroom next to it smelt funky. But it looks like we won't have to replace that wall...we don't think.
