um.... your question is kinda vague.
its a desktop computer, and its decently speced and lacks a hdmi output. if you don't know what hdmi is. then its basically a commonly used audio and video connection between monitors, computers, tvs, and tv perpherials. |

Judging by the pic of the back of the machine on the Best Buy website, the included video card's video outputs are two DVI outputs and one S-Video output (and the S-Video output has extra pins to support alternate outputs, like component, via special dongles).

It's weird it says Core i7, but doesn't say what model Core i7 you get other than the speed. 4 core? 6 core?

If you need HDMI (and for some reason it doesn't already come with one of these):
http://www.directron.c That's the correct adapter to use for ATI cards if you want sound over HDMI. |

anyways, if you look under the details, it says it has a Radeon HD 5770 - which has an HDMI out, so I think some of the specs are wrong/copied from elsewhere (it also claims it has no discrete graphics, but the 5770 is a discrete graphics card Last edited by slapshot136; 10-04-2010 at 06:53 PM.. |

And 500W should be plenty for that rig,even with a 5770. You really don't need more than that unless you have multiple heavy duty CPUs or (more commonly) multiple GPUs and coolers. And yeah, the 5770 def has hdmi out. and iirc, the dvis can be read as another hdmi device and pass audio. Last edited by bonkman; 10-04-2010 at 07:15 PM.. |
