2nd wiki for Daily Recap

Friday recap- Don't forget to rep the original posters!

Most of the discussion so far has been regarding the Phillips Sonicare toothbrush and the Planters nuts.

Quote from teacheraid View Post :
The above is in the wiki.

Per the Coupon Acceptance Policy, we can use 3 coupons on an item, but only one 49, 48 & mq:
Multiple Coupons
More than one coupon can be used on the purchase of a single item under the following conditions:
o All coupons match the item being purchased.
o The total of the coupons is equal to or less than the selling price of the item before sales tax.
o No more than one "48" Rite Aid Valuable coupon, one "49" Rite Aid manufacturer coupon and one "5" manufacturer coupon can be used on a single item.

The in-ad coupon is a "49" manufacterer coupon as is the October vvq, so they can't be used together.
Quote from Shanwa View Post :
For those like me who are trying to figure out where the $10 Sonicare coupon is...it is mentioned in the ad, so it must be coming in the 11/21 inserts.

The MIR should be clarified too...the link is to refer a friend and they receive a $10 MIR rebate form for a future purchase of sonicare. I used my extra email addresses. The email fine print says "qualifying purchase is a purchase with a dated receipt on or after the date of this email", so make sure you send for the rebate form before buyingthe toothbrush.
Quote from angellinda View Post :
You don't have to fax your receipt for the SCR when you do a RC. When you purchase an item with a RC that was a SCR item after the rebate period is over:

1. Make sure that the Sales Associate rings it up as a RC.
2. Enter it online like you normally do with a SCR.
3. When the receipt comes up as "no matching item found" or something to that effect, call the SCR # 1-888-213-9920 between 8 a.m. & 7 p.m. EST, M-F.
4. Choose the RC option when prompted.

You'll get a CSR. I always have my receipt handy when doing this & when the SCR was for the RC item. I probably don't need to do that, but that's just what I do. They will be able to do an adjustment for the SCR period that you have the RC for. There was only 1 time that I had to fax my receipt after doing this.
Quote from staxin View Post :
So to be really specific so there are no more questions about it, the answer is no.
The Sonicare on sale this week is the Essence. The $25 mfg coupon is for the Flexcare.
The Flexcare is NOT on sale for $44.99 this week. So the $25 coupon cannot be used for the Sonicare toothbrush on sale this week.

I've had many items still produce the +up rewards even though an item was price modified. Today my cashier tried to "unscan" one of my +ups because it beeped and went into my tax amount. Instead, it added a dollar to my total so the manager price modified the L'oreal lash thing and it still produced the +up reward on my receipt.

Here [riteaidonlinestore.com] are some of the Wahl kits on the Rite Aid website.

I have a Chrome Pro 25 piece though I don't see the exact kit in the two pages of online listings.

Vick's Sinex is ringing up $4.99 and did produced $2UP and there are tags under those products.

Used the $4 MQ on Day (orange box) and NIght (Blue box) and had no problem with qs going through with a square-like scanner. Only allow a total of 9 boxes and after that the register beeped.

Purchased day and night and tried at another store and mqs would not scanned with a hand-held scanner. AS said he would take the qs on the night one and would push through the qs as it is pictured on q. Even though I pointed out "on any Sinex". He would not allow the qs on the box that said "Sines". The q does state "limit of 4 like item per shopping trip". So I did a transaction of 4 Sinex and the Amo.

I purchased 3 Planters 10oz Deluxe Nuts and 2 Planters Mixed Nuts 17oz and received 5 $2 +UPs and 1 $5 +UP. I used 5 of the $1.00 planters ip they all beeped no matching item and had to be manually entered.

Regarding the Planters:
As I recall, after you get the print limit message, just close that window. The original window should still be open, so just right click it again to get another 2 prints. Rinse and repeat.

It does look like the multiple prints for the Planters is now history. I used a virgin computer and email address and was only able to get two prints. The second time I opened a new window, I got the limit reached message.

Here is another way to get multiple prints of the Planters Q from Kraft First Taste.

I signed into my account and printed the Q. It told me no more offers available. I went to my browser's "History" and clicked on the "Print Coupon" link that was there. It printed another Q with a unique code. I kept doing this until I had seven. All were unique, no need to sign up again.

The Sonicare for me is behind the counter.

The Olay Elixir is not on the shelf with the other Olay, there isn't even a tag/spot for it (in my store), it is in the Make Up sections where they put new products. So if you don't find it on the shelf with the rest of the Olay, check elsewhere.

I was chatting with my favorite shift supervisor this evening, and she said that she was telling all of her couponers about a memo they received from Corp in the past few days regarding the $5 off $25 coupons. (She had been at work all day, and her brain was fried, so she wasn't sure which exact day it came.) She gave me a copy of the memo, and here is what it says:

The SS said that they are not able to force these coupons through any more if they beep.

-$5/$25
-Free Ribbons body wash wyb ^^^ 10/31 PG

**$1/1 frm PG (cleanser/moisturizer)
**$1/$10 RA Skin Care IP

#2
Microsculpting Cream or Serum or DNA UV Cream $22
Olay Ribbons body wash $?
-$5/$25
-Free Ribbons body wash wyb ^^^ 10/31 PG
-$2/1 flu (facial)
**-$2/1 frm PG "what matters most" mailer
= $13
Submit for $20 MIR (you'll have to add in $6 of other Olay Face Products to qualify for the 1st one or do these transactions on the 23rd)
Submit for $20 SCR

Makes it not just FREE but a MM, right? Anyone see any problems with these scenarios?

**EDIT** Just remembered RA does not give overage, edited my scenario to reflect that and added in helpful suggestions from SoCalGal and ESQKRW

I bought the Thera Max / Theramax Allergy one (from October SCRs due this Monday) and did NOT get the rebate (#29) to clear. The Cold / Flu one worked on a different account though, it seems to be just the allergy one that's the issue. Definitely should qualify but it didn't. You guys might wanna double-check there was a lot of stuff those two weeks and it's easy to miss!

In case you need a free glucose meter, or in case you need a high price filler, or in case you haven't used the Buy $30 select Diabetes products, receive a $5 +UP (valid 9/26-12/25) -- limit 1 UP.

Your store might still have the 2 varieties of RA glucose monitors with a freebie at purchase peelie on the box.
Most of the new boxes have a peelie "free after rebate" (NO instant saving on these.)

But if you're lucky you might be able to find some of the boxes with the peelies that make the meter free upon purchase.
1. True result Blood Glucose Meter $17.99 ($14.39 20% disc.) With Peelie "FREE METER: Save $30 instantly and $9.99 via mail-in rebate. The cash register will beep to have the cashier adjust the price.

2. TRUE2go Blood Glucose Meter $9.99 ($7.99 20% disc.) With Peelie "FREE METER: Save $10 instantly (I don't have this peelie saved, so I forget the rebate amount on this one.) The cash register will automatically deduct the full $10. You will need to tell the cashier to adjust it because they always miss it.

I always check for these peelies when I go to a new store, and I found 2 just a few days ago. They are located with the other meters near the pharmacy. Some stores have them behind the pharmacy on a display shelf.

Make sure to look behind the boxes toward the front of the display. Sometimes the freebie peelies are on the hidden boxes. Make sure to check the regular displays and endcaps. They are always near, or behind the pharmacy though. They are usually covered in dust also! Also, make sure to get a price check, if you are like me and you want to get your totals just right. These meters tend to go on sale. But, the $10 peelie on the TRUE2go will always scan at $10.

I have never personally done the rebate though, has anyone else had luck with the rebate?
I hope this helps someone, everyone here has always been so helpful to me.
Thanks to all!

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but:

1) You may only one $5/$25 per transaction

2) There is no limit as to how many internet coupons you can use per transaction, but an individual internet coupon can't have a face value of more than $5 (so, no $10 IP coupons).

3) Rite Aid coupons are exempt from this rule.

I think what you're saying is that the manager told you that you can't use more than $5 total in internet coupons. That was a rule quite some time ago, but it's no longer their policy.

The rebate that I'm doing for today's Olay purchases goes from 11/1 - 1/31. The offer # is 192-172. It's for Olay Facial Moisturizers, Facial Treatments, and Facial Cleansers.

The rebate form for Olay/Venus/Cover Girl/etc. (for purchases made between 11/23 & 12/31) will be available to be printed out on 11/23 at http://www.musthaveits.com/

I don't see how anyone can overlap these for a purchase on 11/23, since original receipts are needed when you send in the rebate.

Just for planning of transactions for folks, Olay Ribbons is $7.79 at my store, so $6.23 after 20% Wellness discount. The max on the coupon is $6, so you'll pay at the least $.23 for it depending on your discount or lack thereof.

Also, the rebate will work fine in multiple transactions.

I purchased 4 today @ $3.99 and got the bonus $5 and (4) $2 +UP as well.

I forgot to quote the post, but if you do the Conde Nast Olay rebate here [condenastdirect.com]be sure to send this in before 30 days from the date on your receipt. Mine was postmarked 32 days after the date on the reciept and I received a big fat rejection last time around. I know others did too.

Just reporting that I also only bought 4 of the planters and I got the bonus $5 up. None of my IP's beeped-I got 2 almond nutrition and 2 heart healthy nutrition. Also, I used the 11/30 exp $5/$25 with no beeps. Here is what I did:

4 Planters
3 Dr. Pepper 12 packs (dist by Coke here)
Total: 25.95
Used $5/$25
$.50/1 Nutrition (4) from flu book
$1.00/1 Planters (4)
$1.00/3 Dr. Pepper from flu book
$1.00/2 Dr. Pepper peelie (MQ)

Total with taxes was $13.73 and I got back $15 in UPs. I'm sure it can be a great money maker but getting drinks for better than free was good enough for me!
Quote from elefanteau View Post :
The scenario in the wiki is just so you could get to the $25 threshold to use the $5 off $25. You can buy 4 of the Planters that are $3.99 (except Antioxidant Mix since that for some reason is NOT ringing up $3.99 and doesn't produce the +UP) and then add in some free fillers to get to $25. You will still get the $5 mystery +UP, if you haven't gotten it before.

Did a search and wasn't able to find answer. Is the Nyquil Sinex, 20 Count, in the blue box, on sale for $4.99 and producing the $2 +UP? It wasn't tagged at my store.

I did get the two Olay items, and Sonicare, though!!!! Yeah!!

Gonna try and go back tomorrow for some Planters, Scott TP, and some SCR items. Trying to turn my multitudes of Aussie Ups into money!!!

Also, did anyone post on this? My store had signs saying fragrances over $24.99 are on sale for $10 off. They didn't carry Shakira or Beyonce, so I don't know the prices. But, I saw $5 off MQ's in the Dec. All You mag for $5 off Coty fragrances. And the SCR rebate book shows the Shakira and Beyonce fragrances as Coty fragrances. So, if you have the Beyonce or Shakira $5 VV Q, and if they were around $24.99. You could do this:
$24.99 - $10 sale, - $5 VVQ, - $5 MQ, - $3 SCR. = $1.99
Quote from KeepingMyMoney View Post :
No, never. I have done three transactions with just nuts, 7 each (one transaction each at three different stores) and got the $2+ups for each but no $5 bonus. I am still happy as I paid almost nothing for 7 cans of nuts which are great snacks for all of the kids. My kids LOVE the NUTrition nuts too, especially my oldest daughter, so that is my bonus!!

I didn't even have the flu shot coupons but still a good deal (well I had one flu shot per order as I had three books only).

$3.99 X 7= $27.93 - (7) $1/1 Planter's coupons, - (1) $0.50 Flu bk. coupon= $20.43
Also used $5/25 (no beeps thankfully)= $15.43 (Paid with +ups from last weeks MMs)
Got back $14 +ups so total oop cost was $1.43 for 7 cans of nuts (no tax in NH). Actually, I used another $1 +up I had so I paid 43 cents but the true cost was $1.43.

$1.43 for 7 cans of good nuts and great snacks for 6 kids is an awesome transaction for me! Thanks to all who worked in putting together and sharing this fabulous deal! The kids thank you too!

Quote from DVD View Post :
Ok, here's a fantastic money making deal similar to the OfficeExpert/RA binders a couple months back and no coupons (except for $5/$25) are needed.
I believe all the picture frames have a $3 Up with no limits, including the $1.49 ones (the cheapest one I found). There are more expensive ones like $1.99, $2.49, $2.99, $3.99, and more, but everyone of them produces a $3Up. Combine with your 20% off and it will be a killer MM. Basically, buy anything under $3.75 and it will be a moneymaker with the use of the 20% off and $5/$25. Create your own scenario based on what you find in the store. Good luck everyone!!!

Maximum amount per transaction is ...
21 frames x $1.49 regularly x 20% discount = $25.03 - $5/$25. Pay $20 and get back 21$3 Ups = $63 or a $43 MM if you actually find 21 of the tiny desk picture frame for $1.49 each regularly.

Obviously, I did not try this scenario as my RA does not carry that many, but I did get some of the different frames as fillers and got all $3Ups for each frame.

Report any frame you find that does NOT produce a $3Up.

Watch what Olay products you buy. Went to 2 RAs and both either had the wrong items tagged or didn't tag the right ones. Kinda confused me at first and I had the wrong thing in my cart.

Also, as anyone noticed what the Conde Nast rebate is for? Someone PMed me to say it's not for the Olay stuff we are buying. I just assumed since it was listed it was good on the two $22 items we are buying. I just clicked on it and it says to get a code from inside the package....? What's is really for?

Also also, I bought 4 Nissin Soup Bowls today and they rang up 80c each with 20% disc. Didn't realize $1 is regular price. So $3.20 - $1/3 from 9/12 or 10/3 SS - $2 +UP = 5c each!
