I know some people love the place and also some others hate it, calling it "a fake Italian restaurant" and a "fast food" Italian restaurant. I'm open to read all positive, neutral, and negative responses.

Personally, I LOVE that place....I try to go once every 2 or 3 months, and every time I go, I usually order the same things but I do and try to fix things up.


Some of things I frequently order are:

Drinks:

1. Bellini peach raspberry iced tea - a must



2. If I don't get the Bellini peach raspberry iced tea, I then get an Italian Soda instead.




Appetizers:

1. Bread sticks (automatically comes with an Entree) with Alfredo sauce (a MUST order) - another must...bread sticks + Alfredo sauce is insanely awesome!





2. Calamari - I simply love it



3. Zuppa Toscana - about one out every of 2 or 3 times that I go to the O.G. I would order this soup...because it is very good. I've just recently discovered this soup because I've always had the minestrone and decided to try the Zuppa Toscana one day and haven't changed my mind since!




Entrees:

1. My #1 choice is the Chianti braised short ribs - it is simply awesome, the short ribs is so tender and delicious, I want to have 8 instead of the 4 pieces they serve you on the plate...well worth the money spent. Anyone that has had this entree will agree with 110% that it's awesome.



2. Seafood Alfredo - I'm a big seafood guy and I love pasta....so Seafood Alfredo is my 2nd favorite choice for an Entree at the O.G.




Dessert:

1. Tiramisu - this is my 1 and ONLY choice for dessert....why? it is so farking good everytime! I love it. I get it everytime at the O.G.

We went there Friday night, and hubby had Chianti braised short ribs for dinner, and I had the Tour of Italy, and of course we had the bread sticks with the salad before dinner arrived. Iced tea, but not the raspberry, we like regular iced tea unsweetened and we'll take care of fixing it ourselves.

The food was good, hubby like the braised short ribs, which was surprising because he did not want to go there to eat - I forced it upon him - I wanted Italian - and said there had to be some type of "meat" on the menu for you I had enough with the Tour of Italy that I ended taking some home - there was too much for me to eat.

The is no poll for I love it, but hubby hates it, so I drag him there anyway

now the million dollar question is.....did YOU personally try the chianti braised short ribs yourself?!?! please tell me you did...and how was it if you did?!

oh...i hardly EVER finish my food...i always end up taking 1-2 bread sticks home along with my entree....because i always have to have room for the tiramisu

I Italian food and they finally brought an OG to my old hometown
always get the Stuffed Chicken Marsala or the Chicken Con Broccoli

I really like the olive garden, but I don't go as much as I would like. They seem to have less locations than most other major chain restaurants (and I dont live in the sticks )

I usually get some type of pasta..I love when they have their unlimited past bowl deal for like 9 bucks. I always try to get some breadsticks to go as well!

I used to work there. Haven't been in.... uh... probably 3 or 4 years? Used to love the seafood alfredo until they changed the recipe and then took away the crawfish and replaced it with scallops

Had tons and tons of regulars. People love that place but I say they just don't know good Italian To me, saying Olive Garden is Italian is like saying that kraft american cheese slices are cheese or that Sonny's is good bbq.

nice...my friend's sister used to work there as well and we would get a fat discount...it was great. yeah i know what you're saying about the Italian food....O.G. is main stream...to get the real great Italian food you gotta go to a local non-main stream place....but i love the O.G. regardless!

I tried that place and it was horrible

I thought it was one of those "unwritten" rules that when your plate comes (especially your entree), you give/offer your spouse/significant other a little bit of yours....lol
