Hyatt is offering their new credit card ($75 annual fee) with 2 free nights (not capacity controlled) at any Hyatt. It also includes Platinum membership which gets perks like free internet service during your stay. $75 for two nights at some of the upscale Hyatt properties is quite a deal.

Guess it depends on where you want to stay.

PS - I believe that the 2 free nights alsogets you status (free internet in room)

The credit is only for standard rooms, but at some of their hotels this can amount to $900 worth or more in some places so this is actually a great deal

So you get 2 nights free but have to pay an annual fee of $75? It's not worth it unless they were giving you 2 free nights every year. You wind up keeping the card, paying $75 every year and before you know it, you paid more for those 2 "free" nights than you would have had you not had the card. And if you plan to cancel your card to avoid paying consecutive annual fees, you will hurt your credit score.

FYI two nights in hotels in Tokyo and other expensive cities like NY can be a fortune. Tokyo cost Hyatt 400-500 per night. Not bad for the first year and you can cancel later if you like.

A good perk.

All other cards, except Capital One, charge 3% additional on purchases made outside the USA. That is a great savings if you travel the world and buy stuff like we do.
