5) Is what I voted.... but really I only know rough numbers from reciepts at stores that tell me what I've saved! Basically, SD allows me to afford to feed and care for my family (and extended family!) while I get to be a SAHM. If I worked outside the home..... we would most surely actually be in the NEGATIVE!!!!
SD is my coupon BFF ![]() ETA: Basically, I figure it saves me $10K + a year, because that is prolly what I would make if I had a PT job to try and pay retail for the stuff I get for almost/free....

How would you go about calculating the amount? Let's say that there's an SD for something that's $10 instead of an MSRP of $100. Does that mean you saved $90? What if there's a comparable item that regularly goes for $20? Did you save $10?
Steve Gibson on password policies [grc.com]: I mean, I don't get this change it every eight weeks. ... It's not as if passwords are traveling by camel after they've been stolen, going to the bad guys, and so there's, like, some weird eight-week window, like, oh, we're going to change your password so that the stale password no longer works. ... And all this does is make IT people despised because users, who are not dumb, they think, why am I - why do I have to do this? What problem is this solving?

I spent $10 on something that is now worth $10. MSRP is different than real price. IE say im buying a computer. MSRP of $900. But a store has a sale and its $450. I certainly didn't save $450 if the store next door is selling it for $500. Tired of clicking next every 10 posts? Go here and choose 40 per page.
