Speaking in generalities, it is relatively common for random retailers to put something on sale at a price lower than what Amazon is selling something for, so I'm inclined to say yes. But that is a gross generality... on any one item, there is no telling how long you'd have to wait for someone to discount it. If you have time on your side, I think you stand a chance!

Added the PN50C490, the Sears 809.99 price with free glasses is if you buy in store with a Sears card, or through shopdiscover. I didn't include the Aafes deal for $850 with glasses since not that many have access.

Thinking about starting a Panasonic thread if there isn't one, I am personally looking for a G25 (although I want a VT25, or really really a Kuro, but budge s under 1K ).

I tried but they didn't. First, they don't price match, they Price Guarantee. What that means is that after you order the TV and you get it in your hands you can go look for a lower price. If you find one they will match it, that too only from the stores listed on their website. So if you see a low at the time you are ordering, you cant ask them to match it. And who knows what will the price be by the time you receive the TV.

I wasted over 2 hours spread over 3 separate calls but did not get to convince them to get me the price US-Appliances was giving me today for Sammy PN63C8000. Their loss, US appliance gain. Pulled the trigger!

I went to best buy today to look at the PN50C550. I was pleased with the picture quality and ordered it from sears with shop discover. Hopefully they will have it ready for me to pick up in the morning.

UGH! I finally got the go ahead on ordering a PN58C7000 and it went from $1648 to $1688 and now $1729!! friggin a!!!
