Go almost all the way left on your XMB to "Settings," then "Accessory Settings," and you should see "Add New Device" or something like that. Then just put your headset into pairing mode and the PS3 should find it.
Keep in mind, though, that the only headset that will sync mid-game is the official Sony PS3 Bluetooth headset. Any other headset must be paired before entering a game session.
hmm, so just that I got this straight, I need to pair the non-sony headsets each time I start the console?
I dont know what advantage Wiz speaks of, but my ghetto $10 BT headset is there all the time and works just fine.
Kyle: Dude! I almost thought those Afghani kids talked you into not liking America. Stan: No, dude. America may have some problems, but it's our home. Our team. And if you don't wanna root for your team, then you should get the hell out of the stadium. Kyle: Yeah. Stan: <salutes the American flag> Go America. Kyle: <salutes> Go America... Stan: Go Broncos Kyle: Yeah go Broncos. Cartman: Yeah...
You guys are crazy. Just pair your BT with the PS3 and when you turn the PS3 on then turn your BT on and it'll link up. I have a Plantronics that I've been using w/o issue for a while. Now, I for some reason can't get my jawbone to sync with my PS3 but no biggie as it's mainly a device for the car anyways.
