This is the place to discuss daily Overwhelming Offers available through all other channels than MasterCard Marketplace. There are numerous portals to this system, the most popular of which are these two:

http://yahoodeals.nextjump.com
http://www.bordersrewardsperks.co...mingoffer/

Please make it clear to other users which portal you are using, and use the wiki to share winning strategies and basic knowledge on the process. Rep for helpful advice!

Good luck everyone!

I made a basic excel counter that updates the number of check-ins once per minute.. it is available for free here:

You can check next day's OO's at this page.

These are the sites that you can help boost check-ins

Helpful facts:
-OOs cannot be combined with other offers, coupons, or discounts.
-Your minimum spend amount is pre-tax and shipping.
-You can buy items being re-sold by the retailer
-You can buy items through a retailer's outlet store
-You are usually credited for your purchase within a week. If not, email customer service with order details to expedite the process.
-For unused OO's, there's a $10 no-show fee. So get it only if you are going to use it!
-T&C's can change depending on offer. Check your offer T&C's.
-One penny or more difference is NOT OK, e.g. $99.99 instead of $100.00
-There is a $10 fee for reservations that you do not take advantage of. OO customer service will forgive *one* non-purchase if you email them and ask nicely.

What are the recommendations/techniques for those of us who just want to cash out our WOWPoints other than going through the PayPal route (if that's still available) which IIRC had some fees or buying restaurant.com's certificates? Any particular online stores to buy from and then potentially return the order to a B&M location?
Is there any stipulation that you can't buy gift cards to the stores listed in a post below to cash out WOWPoints so that you don't have to deal with returns?

Buy the Nook I tell you. The most expensive one but you changed your mind when you got it.

Well, it's not flowers this friday, at least.

Cooking.com $75 off $150 is kind of a rip. Steamykitchen.com is a skinned version of cooking.com, and they had/have $50 off $100 coupons with no strings attached. This level deal is not hard to achieve without corporate perks.

Does anyone else have several outstanding rebates? My wife and I have a couple of issues each from mid December that got approved via email in early or mid January. In the past, those rebates showed up pretty fast, but it's been a while now.

You have to contact them and ask for the rebates to be sent to your account. If Bob answers that is your bank problem, then point out that they show pending, with no posted date in your account, so Next Jump is withholding them. Bottom line is that you might have to press them to actually send them to your CC.

Sorry, I was talking about MC Marketplace. I got all my rebates from CP, including those manually confirmed, so you will need to contact them anyway to ask what's happening.

Really looks like we have another sign Next Jump is winding down now that they're cancelling mobile app support 4/1. Employee morale has to be dirt poor if the problems are plainly obvious to outsiders at this point.

What do you mean? You posted it. It just happened. The charges posted on my credit cards Monday and Tuesday. I just saw them today, when I was checking my finances with Mint. Other people just don't know. The original transactions dates coincide with the dates they issued refunds (I got three of them). They reversed all the refunds they gave to everybody. There were people on OOTalk today complaining about it.

ah, now i understand. i thought you meant many others posted in this thread about reverse refunds. did not even check the OO talk. so your saying the same happened to you, but you had many more GCs. that sucks.. what the hell is this all about.. seems to be a nice little trick for FGR to get their money back months later hoping not many will see the transactions..

however, my case is a little different. i was charged TWICE for ONE GC.. i only ordered ONE GC from FGR. whats your case? if you simply got OOs, used them to get GCs from FGR, placed orders for each OO, why would FGR beable to reverse the refund when i though those refunds were from OO and not FGR? At least for me the refunds/rebates show up from nextjump.

The refunds were not OO rebates, they have nothing to do with Next Jump.

In one case FGR cancelled 2 orders because they were duplicates, for the third one the order didn't actually go through but they charged my credit card nevertheless. I sent all the documentation showing that they actually cancelled my orders to one of the credit card companies after I opened the dispute. The other CC just considered it fraud and closed my card and issued a new one.

I don't know and I don't care why FGR did this. Probably from sheer stupidity. I am sick of them and I hope somebody will close their stupid little so called company.
