Congratulations to the XBL BLOPS Tourny CHAMPS: Team Justice League!!!!! See updated wiki for write up! Next up: The All Star Game!!!
Tournament Rules:
1. 4 vs 4 (8 Teams Total)
2. Double Elimination for entire tourny
3. Best 2 out of 3 rounds wins (Race to 2).
4. Finals will be best 3 out of 5.
5. Gametype: TDM (Regular, hardcore, Modified Pure)
6. Killstreaks will be RESTRICTED to 3 / 5 / 7: Spyplane / Napalm / Attack Chopper
7. Map Restrictions: NO LARGE MAPS during the tournament.
8. Camping can't be regulated or restricted but it is looked down on and you will get no respect.
9. NO NOOB TUBES
10. Substitutions: If a team is short a player(s) on their scheduled match, they best hope one of the subs is online and willing to play. ALSO, the captain of the opposing team must agree to the sub, in that the sub must be of comparable or lesser skill level. Sub will be messaged and invited into the game. If no sub can be agreed upon and subsequently brought into the game, team plays shorthanded or choses to forfeit.
11. If a team has TWO players that are no shows for a given match, AUTOMATIC FORFEIT.
12. At the start of a match, if players join the WRONG side when starting the match and son't jump over before the ticker counts down, this is grounds for AUTOMATIC RESTART of the round.
13. Not a rule but I encourage everyone to ENABLE video recording. The better to call out campers (with proof)

I'm collecting email addresses this time around because I think it'll be quicker in contacting everyone to set up matches and stuff.
If you're hesitant to participate because:
1) You don't think you're skills are up to snuff and/or
2) You think it will mean a significant time commitment, let me assuage your fears.
A) There are no doubt some exceptional players in the SD lounge but for the most part, the skills displayed in our last MW2 tournament ranged from super noob to average. And one super noob in particular showed drastic improvement as the tourny went on (where is Maledar these days?). Also, when teams are set up we attempt to balance teams as best as possible. There should be NO stacked teams.
B) Also, it will be a very very small comittment of your time. Matches will be best of 3 rounds, which means race to 2. At worst you'd play 3 rounds per match and at best 3 matches per week (and that's a best case scenario). Length of tournament is unknown at this time but it will be based on number of participants and how quickly teams can get their scheduled matches going.

I don't remember the final score but I think TJL won by about 10-11 kills? But it didn't matter anymore. TCT had fallen. TJL was victorious.
I can only imagine what he said during the matches. I want to be on Skeeza's team for the ASG!
