Really?

Personally I like thick cut maple bacon. My suggestion would be for you to buy them all and see which one you like.

After all personal preferences are huge. Some people love Budweiser. Other people think it tastes like piss ya know...

Smythfield cooks up nicely in the microwave or in an iron pan. Wright brand (the people advertise a lot of the radio) is pretty good too, but quality has not been consistent - as in I got a salt lick package one time.

Publix thick cut bacon has been good too.

I am not a fan of regular Oscar Meyer bacon, just doesn't taste right. Their center cut was good, but I only buy it when its B1G1

We eat the Wright brand bacon at home, it's good in that it's not saturated with water, and the smoke flavor seems authentic rather than water-soaked into it. Cooks nicely, and haven't seen any issues, yet.

I agree the Wright thick cut has been pretty good, but I think I prefer the 3 I listed.

I also agree that Publix thick cut that is packaged similar to the Wright has also been consistently good, but the same applies.

Im not a big fan of Oscar Meyer bacon, though it is apparently the best selling bacon in the US.

Jowl Bacon from Burger's Smokehouse [smokehouse.com]. It ain't the cheapest bacon, but it sure is tasty! They also sell it in chunks, so you can put it in your baked beans, etc.

Burger's Smokehouse does have fantastic bacon, but I like the Original Country Bacon. I would say that that is my absolute favorite, but I was going for more widely available bacons in this thread. And it aint cheap.
