That's a good use for it!Big Grin

I usually love whatever they send because they try and do something a little offkilter and weird. Last years was the best ever with the Bottle Sweater that just happened to fit every Chihuaha dog we know but the round Ice Cube makers were cool too.

This years gift boxes are a tad strange but they make fun of Infomercials and hucksters whoyell at you on TV so what's not to love? Plus they are actually useful as giftboxes and even if you wrap them, they will give your giftee that "what the hay?" moment when they unwrap it!

BTW, I love the idea of using the freebie boxes to stuff with glam freebies we got as an instant gift! I used one to stack cello-wrapped indivdual hand pies for my neighbor and used the Fruit cake box. She had quite a laugh when she found out she was getting Kentucky Derby Bourbon Walnut pies instead!drool

Did anyone else receive their invitation to go sample the barrel they named and buy two bottles from their barrel.? I got the coolest poster and an invitation to go anytime between April 2013 and September 2013. We are going to try and go, for a vacation as much as to see the distillery. woot
Received the gift boxes and received the poster and official letter/invite. The poster is HUGE.
We can only purchase two bottles from our barrels though.

I was wondering though....since our barrels will be emptied, will we still be in the Maker's Mark program? Hard to believe it's been 7 years already, received some great gifts from them and a few weird ones.

Anyone know how to change your password on the maker's mark site? It's awfully weak for one protecting my actual personal info. I've been looking for 10 minutes and see no way to change it.

Thanks. I mistook that field as being where you had to enter your password to change the other personal info, it didn't occur to me that it was for changing your password. Stupid moment.

We were just talking about how fast 7 years have gone by! I'm sure that the ambassador program will continue. We went to a tasting with Bill Samuels last year to sample the new Maker's 46, and he talked about how the program has been such a success for the company. I hope it continues! I love all of the goodies we get!

I have gotten random stuff from them over the year. This year I got fake product boxes for hiding alcohol as a gag gift.

I received my poster a month ago but never received the bottle sweater. Darn, that probably would have fit my dog.
